I bought this to track the states we went to on our cross country trip. My oldest daughter was graduating from basic training in South Carolina and we made an adventure out of it, coming from California. The map is a lot thicker than I expected. Which is great because removing the stuff to see what's underneath is difficult. It's definitely not for kiddos and the scratching 'tool' that came with it is a joke. Use a penny or a dime and you'll have better luck. It was packaged very well and I have no real complaints about it. The colors are beautiful and I can't wait until I can finish getting all the gunk off so I can frame it.Pics to show colors and the residual blank gunk I'm still trying to scrape off. All in all a great purchase!

Not a huge fan. I was super pumped because it looks awesome online and the few review photos, but the real life is not all that. The scraper kinda sucks, used a coin instead and still doesn't give a shiny, clean pretty photo like online photos. Obviously going to keep it and deal with it as is. But I don't recommend buying this product. Maybe I got a dud, but I'm pretty disappointed.

I bought this as a Christmas gift and the receiver loved it! It came packaged very well in a sturdy cardboard tube. It includes a little white (guitar pick shaped) instrument to scratch off the black with and it works perfect! It’s so beautiful when the states are revealed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

I got this to complete with my sister's kids, but the scratching is way too hard for kids. The tool it comes with is useless....use the end of a bottle opener like I did. I suggest you do a sweep and then fill in the parts you missed. Once completed it is pretty if you haven't scratched through the paper.

Very tough to scratch off. Good so there are no scratches unintentionally on the map but a little hard to scratch off when you're actually trying too

This was the perfect birthday gift for my husband who loves to travel and note where we've been. This was on a heavy-weighted, sturdy paper, and it fit perfectly into a frame. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I really like this scratch off map! It is exactly what I expected. My kids enjoyed scratching off the states that we have been to and they look forward to scratching off the other states once we visit them. The scratcher piece that it comes with is a little hard to use. Other than that small issue, the map has beautiful pictures under each state!

I love this map! I bought one as an 8th grade graduation present and ended up getting one for myself :). It looks great unscratched and looks awesome scratched. I love how it gives the state nickname. This stood out from the other options I was seeing and I love it!
