+veLooks greatWide range of adjustments,Proper wood - not cheap mdf.-veFront legs are difficult to get in the correct position, the leg itself, and the groove it is supposed to fit into dont QUITE match up.Mix of knurled and wingnut fixings - it really needs all wingnuts to tighten securely - I will be replacing all the knurled screws.Back leg dosent lock into placeTwo minor niggles,1, The instructions were buried in the top of the main body - meaning you had assembled 85% of it blind before finding them.2, One of the adjustment screw threads for the canvas holder was very poor - and worse, it was one where the knurled nuts were used; I had to lubricate and brute force the nut back and forth for over 10 minutes until it cleaned the thread up enough for a non-Shrek sized creature to use.

Easy to assemble not too bulky for storage and solid wood.

I have met several people recently with identical set-ups under 'branded' names which cost them a lot more. I have started painting 'plein-air' this summer for the first time and this easel works really well.

Well made and beautiful when set up

Easy to assemble and carry which surprised me! Can easily be used on a table top too.

I like the quality of the finish on this item, however, it is bulkier and heavier than I expected and I fear that it will not be as portable for the person it was purchased for.
