Great?
Great ebook reader. I love it. Especially good when reading coloured comics. I love the look of the old Eagle and Valiant issues that I love. Worth every penny to me. Technically it meets its specs.

Game changer
I initially bought this to try to work in bright sunlight on code. And it works well. But the real game changer for me is the note taking ability. Would highly recommend. As its running android you can use it for anything your tablet can do. I use it for reading, note taking, coding, navigation charts and more. LOVE IT.

Very disappointing
Having spent quite a lot of money on this device, I was expecting a LOT more. It's a very, very average tablet. Output and input are very very slow and unpredictable. The Android elements work fine but Boox's own apps and universe are very poor, clunky and full of annoying glitches. I have seen this recommended as a productivity powerhouse but this is a long way from my experience as if you have to deal with frustrating bugs and errors all the time, how can it be any such thing? For me, it's been an expensive mistake and one I would urge others not to make before considering the many downsides very seriously.

Better than expected.
I bought this for business use as it would be less distracting than an iPad or similar tablet. The screen is a pleasure to read from. Electrical drawings, manuals, and supplier documentation are crisp, clear, and very fast to search. Cross reference links in PDFs work very well and quickly load up the referenced pages and can be clicked with a finger without needing to zoom in for accuracy. The limited colours do seem like a plus, as poured not bombard with colour, but coloured documents still display very well. Photos as expected, can sometimes seem blotchy, but this is not what its intended for. I've marked up several documents with the included stylus, and I can't fault it. It writes accurately and smoothly. The eraser works very and has requires minimal effort and accuracy, It seems quite good at working out what you want to erase without having to scrub every little bit of it individually. My only complaint is that it isn't iOS. While to some this may seem a petty comparison, I do find the OS cumbersome and long winded. Maybe I'll get used to it over time but everything seems to take too many clicks to get to the setting you want. The on-screen keyboard is one area which lacks responsiveness and can require buttons to be re-pressed before they're acknowledged. Night time reading is very clear and the backlight is exactly bright enough and never overpowering. Light is very evenly distributed with no dark or light spots visible. I honestly prefer to read from this than any other tablet. Screen updates are about as fast as I expect with rendering being quite quick with minimum burn through from the previously loaded page. To summarise, the OS could be improved, but the screen, backlight, and stylus are perfect for a business eReader. Battery life depends on use, but is by no means disapponinting.

Excellent tablet experience with Google Play Store and expected e-ink note taking experience
Great performance within the limits of e-ink displays (Yes, it is not an IPAD experience) and integration is excellent. I use all the O365 apps, especially OneNote and OneDrive, to sync my notes with my PC, Android Phone and Tablet. Works great with Outlook for emails as well. I am using it with the Keyboard case and out of it in hand-held mode; both modes have their advantages. Very happy with the device so far.

Good Tablet with problems
I bought BOOX Tablet Tab Ultra C Pro ePaper PC 10.3 E Ink last year, and after extensive research (and testing out other leading tablets like the Bigme 10.3" Colour E-Ink Read-Write Tablet a reMarkable 2 Paper Tablet), I decided to purchase this, because I like the idea of an expandable memory and the ability to add apps to this as well as a camera. To be honest (my personal opinion) were we are with technology for an e-ink reader I expect the whole market to be a lot further along than were it is now, it seems (my opinion) that we have step back in time, the fonts and the use of colour and the feel seems like the first colour mobile phone... but saying this I definitely feel like this was the best of the market, the camera is poor but having a camera when you are studying and able to take a quick pic and add it to your notes is great which the remarkable doesn't have. The pen and screen quality when taking notes is great and it possibly doesn't feel the same as the remarkable but is very close to feeling like you’re writing on paper. The fonts and templates where great I like the ability to lasso your work when editing allowing you to make certain words smaller so you can add to your work was a bonus for me, which tablets like the Bigme doesn't quite let you do, however the Bigme does have better templates. The Ai assistance is great, I really needed a tablet for note taking so wasn’t to fuss with apps to play games or watch TV, however it’s nice to have that feature, my main purpose for purchasing this app was for note taking. The reason why I gave The BOOX 3 starts is because after 6 months the screen started to ghost heavily and no attempts of refreshing or restarting this tablet work (the picture doesn't do it justice) It got to the point where I couldn't see the screen. For me this made the table unusable, hence the rating, however if the refresh mode was better this would have been my go-to tablet, like I said for the market at the moment this for me is the better e-paper tablet.

Fabulous
Really happy with this tablet. The play store integration makes it ideal. Kindle app, Libby app, press reader. Microsoft 365 apps work on it, Dropbox can bring and sync your files. The native browser is good for browsing but this device is mostly about notebook keeping and reading. Books, news papers and magazines are brilliant. Warm light lighting or cool white for less eye stain really considered. I also like how good it is to personalise with screensavers. Lastly connecting Bluetooth keyboard and mouse makes it a great typing device. Very usable if you think outside the native apps. Hand writing is very comfortable.

If you get a good one - this is the best reading device you'll ever buy (so far!)
I've had several Onyx devices over the last few years as I've looked for eink devices which allow more than the walled garden of a Kindle Device and Onyx seems to be the leader so far. The colour screen on the latest devices makes a big difference to reading, especially diagrams, charts and technical drawings where colour coding is vital. The sheer speed of this latest Tab Ultra C Pro is outstanding, it feels like a high end Android tablet from a couple of years ago but with the excellent e-ink screen to help reduce eye strain. Its also an excellent note-taking devices, all my notes are synced into my Microsoft Cloud seamlessly and I certainly handwrite a lot more now keeping better notes for work! The only downside for me has been the screen, I've had to go through 4 devices to get one that didn't have dead pixels on the screen, some may find the odd dead pixel acceptable but on a device that costs £650 I find it unacceptable to have any kind of screen defect out of the box, I wouldn't with a similarly costing Samsung Tablet with an OLED screen, why should I with e-ink? All in all though this is a great piece of kit, yes its pricey but this is the first one that feels to me to be super fast, and well capable of replacing a more traditional tablet device for most reading and writing tasks.! (I also have had B&W Note Air Plus, Tab Ultra and the colour Tab Ultra C and frankly this new Ultra C Pro which seemed on paper a minor update feels bigger than the sum of its parts.

Best tablet and ereader on the market with color and eink display! Best for kids as well!
I had a very awful experience with kindle. I bought 1 for my daughter. I thought since kindles are the latest rave and it was such a great deal. She couldn’t stand it. I took a look at it and she is right. The lagging, ghosting, and navigation are awful. Tried to pass around to others. No one cared for it. The trade in wasn’t worth it. Completely taken advantage of by Amazon. I will be absolutely honest. Due to what happened with the kindle. I did months of research before buying an ereader. I joined multiple groups of books and ereaders. I found that no matter the name or brand of an ereader the super cheapest one’s have the most issues and don’t last long. If you pay cheap, you simply get cheap. I was torn on the price tag, so I went and asked the IT experts (those who live and breathe in the technology field. Very far in careers like CTO, VP, engineer etc.) All explained to me how important ram is. Turns out they are completely right. Ram is huge, the higher the better! As far as my ereader I paid the extra for the ONYX BOOX Tab Ultra C Pro. It is worth everything I paid for & more! In life I’ve found you get what you pay for. I went looking for 3 main things. I am not a fan of black and white. I specifically wanted color, an ereader that has google playstore ( I read off multiple apps and get free books off multiple apps &saves me $ from having subscriptions), and the size mattered when I was looking for an ereader. I truly wanted an ereader that was at least 10 inches because I was use to reading off a bigger device (my iPad) It checks all my boxes and more. It has a stylus, notes, does docs, tablet & ereader in 1, has color, 128 GB of memory plus has a slot for memory cards if needed, 8 core processor, 6 GB of Ram, Kid Friendly Navigation going between kids mode and adult mode, Similar to a scribe, however has way more better features, Has refresh button for ghosting, Has a calendar for notes , book journal, and so much more. No more subscriptions. I can download whatever app I want to read from. My point is I went in for 3 main things and & I’m so glad I paid the extra and got those extra features. I paid over $500 for mine and I have no regrets. You simply can’t put a price tag on technology. There are payment plans. I am not embarrassed to say that I haven’t ever used them. I’ve got the best qualities on products, by simply using them. So if you see an ereader that you are in love with and have to have, don’t let that price tag scare you away. My ereader I’ve seen go from $400 to $800. I shopped around before I got mine. eBay, Best Buy, Amazon, boox site, & Walmart all sell them. My boox ereader has truly been a great investment and I use it a lot and more than just an ereader. I love taking notes on it! I use the notes, the docs, and the calendar feature a lot.

Thankyou freebie cover and amazing product
Coming from ipad it's definitely not easy transition, however we are all looking up for monochrome and eye friendly stuff. Thankyou seller for amazing product and delivery was timely within same day. I would definitely recommend the seller and in future consider buying from them.

Comes with a cover (the brown magnit cover)
Spent extra money buying one, now I have two. As for the device....it's great. Had it for a week now and it became part of my life much faster than I thought it would. I had the Sasmung s7+ and stopped using it, because it became a chore to use something that lasts for 6 hours and charges for 2. Would 100% recommend this to everyone that wants to read more and be able to take notes without needing to stress about battery life.
