The set up took us about an hour. You have to cut out each tiny piece and put them all in baggies that they give you with labels. The labels have photos of the pieces and made it very easy to find the pieces you need for your build. We made multiple robots the first night and I had a lot of fun putting them together. The instructions were very simple. I ended up with extra stickers and parts but looking at the photo of the sticker sheet in the instructions and confirming that they were actually extra made me feel better. Definitely worth the money.

The media could not be loaded. Great toy - our son was really excited to build it. Lots of options to build and rebuild (including a boat!), and the included storage / organization bags were very helpful. The plastic pieces are very sturdy and have a good weight in your hand. (We weren’t ever worried we would bend or break any of them.)We used a AAA battery to play with ours, as it was a little rainy. I didn’t know it had a battery option, so Yay!Nice toy that we all enjoyed putting together. Hands on experience with gears and motors, which my child loves.

The 8 year old I bought this for didn't find it easy to assemble.

This product was very interesting to build. It took 6 1/2 hours to build, the instructions was a bit different than normal, but after getting into them they are really easy. If you follow the instructions step by step you will accomplish the gold. What I really like about this robot is you can build 13 different versions and you can make it run off of battery or solar power. I’m looking forward to build some of the other versions. I would buy this again actually I’m getting some for Christmas for my family. Wished I had filmed the video to show how cool this item is.

I got this robot for my son (8 years old) who loves to build and has been begging for a robot! This was a budget friendly option and we decided to give a go! My son loves to build them! i had to help quite a bit with the first robot he built but now he does it all on his own. Such a great learning tool and a fun toy to play with his siblings as well.

This was a Christmas present for my youngest and we were all disappointed to see that the motor, solar panel, wheels, etc were missing. We initiated an exchange and received a replacement 3 days later. Unfortunately, that box was also was missing the exact same set of parts. We will need to look for a different solar robot for my daughter as I don't feel confident in trying a 3rd time. Very disappointing. Do not recommend.

Fun little robot build! Great concept and instructions! My son loved putting this together and could do so by himself. Love all the different options to build! Worked well and kept him entertained!

My child was exited to make and finally he tried to solar charged it on various days .but it didn't respond. He tried again again now he was disappointed. There is no support for such incidents.
