This is great for traveling as a “personal” item according to airline rules. It’s designed beautifully for every situation from trekking to hiking, beaches, and all around walking. It has everything I need and no extra unnecessary features. Light, and spacious. Great product from a company I already know and trust.

I’m glad I got it on sale. If I had paid the full $25, it have gotten 3 stars.It does the job and it IS a nice little compact backpack that can hold quite a bit. That being said, I only used it for the first time this past Christmas and the strap at the top broke the very first day when I was only at the airport. I had planned to do a month of solo travel so was alarmed when the strap broke at the airport when I tried to hang it on the back of a bathroom door. I thought: oh no! I still have a whole month ahead of me. Is this whole thing going to fall apart piece by piece? Thankfully, the rest of the pack has remained durable.Despite knowing the measurements, the small size still came as a surprise. If you have a laptop larger than 13 inches, it would be a hard fit. I also wish there was a dedicated laptop pocket with lining for added protection. The side pocket is really for passports/cash and MAYBE an iPad mini since a standard sized iPad would definitely not fit in there. I also wish there were more inner pockets for more efficient packing and sorting instead of just one large main compartment.All in all, I’m pretty satisfied with the backpack but it’s definitely a small one and you’d need to bring another item as a carry on. If you’re planning to do some traveling on cheapo airlines where you only have ONE carry on, this is not for you - especially if you need carry a a laptop around for work like me. Once you have your laptop, charger, headphones, and toiletries, you’d only have space for one set of clothes or a travel towel.

I go thru backpacks rather quickly.This has held up nicely and is comfortable to use

This is a perfect lightweight bag to carry watter bottles around when you are touring a city or taking a hike. It is sturdy and the design is perfect both for security and convenience. The water bottle pockets are made with solid cloth, which is rare. Pockets made with mesh are easy to break. I liked it so much and I bought a second one.

Not too big and not too small. Love this. It is perfect for the gym!

This is a very small and light duty bag. Not too much for organization but not the worst. The top little zipper is a nice touch, almost. If you’re using it at all, it’s going to be in the way of the main bag, specifically the laptop section.I felt this was okay for my use, I have a very small laptop, smaller headset and a mouse for the main items. Then of course a few items here and there. By no means did I come close to packing this to the fullest, 30% at best. It was fine walking from my car door to my desk (5 minute walk.) Then I had to step outside my norm and walk two miles with this on. Immediately replaced it. Without the chest strap this kept bowing out to the edge of my shoulders causing discomfort. Everything is just too thin and unstructured. I have a couple other hiking bags from this company and have enjoyed them (still use) but this became a toy for the kiddos.

Nice little pack, I use it as a gym bag since insides are made of 'windbreaker' like lining for wet clothes. This would make a great hiking day pack, but I would not load it up as you main hiking or school pack. Sholder straps are not thick, and I have doubts they would hold a lot of weight or be comfortable in a long run. I have not tested it but cannot see this being waterproof.Good style and value for the money as long as you know the limitations.
