I use one of these when strimming, or using my leaf-blower and leaf vacuum. For strimming I definitely want the face-shield, perhaps not so much when vacuuming up dead leaves, but it is there so I use it.It is sturdy and seems well made (some others are pretty flimsy). The ear defenders are comfortable and very effective.The face shield is quite stiff to raise, but that is how it should be. If it was loose enough to just be flipped up single-handed it could easily get knocked up by accident.It might seem a little expensive, but it should last as long as I do. I would recommend this.

I am getting more safety conscious as I am getting older as well as having hearing problems. I have used cheaper face masks in the past and they don't hold very well to my head and the clear screen can get in the way.I wanted a shield with decent ear protection. This does the job as it fits tight on my head ( using the rear adjuster ), the screen is shaped and it has quality attachable ear muffs. It is quite heavy but is a very good quality.The ear muffs were not good enough for what I needed - Optime I - but I had a set of Optime III muffs and I found if you turn the "cups" 90deg they come of relative easily. So I swapped them out with the originals.

A well made product which combines the two safety features, feels like it will stand the test of time. I find it comfortable. The visor does steam up a little in front of your nose, but not a big issue. Took a bit of thinking when attaching the ear protectors as the instruction wasn't very clear

As far as combined full face and ear protection goes you really can't beat this. Sturdy and well made with good ventilation and overall adjustment. I use it for grinding mainly and it works well with the 3M respirator. I had looked at cheaper alternatives but when it comes to protecting eyes/ears you really do get what you pay for so worth the little extra for a quality piece of kit.

Sadly, my headgear was trashed by a colleague at Kenex Engineering Exeter, along with more PPE, and other possessions, and about £575 worth of tools stolen from me, as a result of my being a witness, and giving a statement to the police about an assault against a young female apprentice at Kenex, when a knife was thrown at her, so the headgear has been trashed, but yes, it was a good product.

I was sick of trying to make my respirator goggles and ear defenders fit, which they never did. Now I just use this, honestly it's fab. It's easy to get on and off quickly and when it's on you can folks the screen and ear defenders out the way. The screen is crystal clear and you can take it all apart to wash it. I can evrn fit my 3m mask under itDon't skimp on your protection.

Very quick to put on and use, providing face and noise protection. Good quality.
