Works Great. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works wirh Raspbery Pi systems very well...! *by G***E on January 31, 2023* I've been using this sensor for at least 5 years now, without a failure on two Raspberry Pi systems to monitor a remote home location and my primary residence. Readings are consistent and accurate. The folks at Practical Design were very helpful in providing information for the Raspberry Pi installation. The user application code is well written, easy to read , and I was able to add some code for my needs. A great product!!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Versatile well supported product with great documentation. *by B***G on May 3, 2018* Works as described. Tested on Win7 and Win10.I needed to remotely monitor the room temperature of a laboratory where sensitive instruments are installed. This allows me to dial in periodically and make sure the temp remained within specs at all times. I ordered a TempAlert which is a similar product, but the company has been acquired by another company and the support software and drivers were nearly impossible to find from the new website. I wanted to go with a company that will be able to support the product long term. Practical Design Group got back to me immediately and assured me that they intend to support this product long term. I like the fact that I get relative humidity as well as Temp. I also like the long USB cable that comes with the monitor. This allows it to be placed more into the room and not just into at the USB slot on the computer. (An extension could have been used with the TempAlert, but THUM supplies the needed cord.) THUM comes with a CD for the monitoring and reporting software. Downloading is not required It uses a Access database for keeping the temperature log but will work with a SQL Db if one is available to it on the host PC. This is a very well thought out and versatile software package. It could email me if an alert temp that I set is reached or exceeded, except the laboratory computer is not set up to use a mail server. I do, however, have a secure dial in capability and I wanted to dial in to pick up history and correlate room temperatures with any reported problems with the laboratory instrument.
