Liquid Leaf Paint One Step Leafing Paint, 0.75-Ounce, Original (Bright (Classic) Gold)

This is a wonderful product, good color and coverage with legitimate gold shine. I am a harpsichord builder. I recently used this paint to stripe and decorate a French harpsichord and the results were amazing. I can't believe the coverage that comes from just a small jar. I bought an extra bottle for a friend that does ceramic work and he loves the product. I have tried other gold leaf paints and have been disappointed. They either required many coats for coverage or looked like gold colored paint. This provides a one coat application in most circumstances.

I discovered an old bottle of this lying around and have been using it on frames. It works so well I'm buying another bottle. Very complete coverage. In some cases I just put a little on my (covered) finger using a toothpick and rubbed it over the highlights of the frame carving. If you spray-painted something with a good gold spray, a bit of this in a slightly deeper or lighter color than the spray gives a beautiful authentic & expensive look.

Perfect gold paint. Just one coat and it was extremely pigmented only downside is the smell was so strong that it gave me a headache after I was finished painting.

This paint will give you the perfect gold color. The only thing I wasn't comfortable with is that you have to clean the paint brushes with mineral spirit, but I cleaned the little brush I used with kitchen oil and that solved the problem for me. Other than that, this paint is as good as it gets.

The color is not what I thought. It’s like old fashion gold.

As in good. I couldn't believe how good. I thought it was expensive for the size but then I used it and wow... gold leafing just brushed on. Also a small jar goes a long, long way.

It is rose gold. Not as advertised or presented. Waste of money unless what you are looking for is a rose gold metallic paint.

I dont like the color for my particular needs. This good is not the gilding look of real gold, it is a dark sludgy gold with sort of red undertones to it. It looks a bit dull, really.
