This item is very sharp. It cuts through most material quite easily. The price is actually good for the pair.

My old ones were seizing up and not sharp anymore. I saw these for less than $12CDN and figured, sure. It's not like I and a heavy user.They are sharp. I wouldn't call them "heavy duty". But the only real reason for 4 stars is that the spring that is supposed to help them open back up is pretty light and I've had to manually reset the cutters which is a pain because when I'm cutting with one hand I usually have something in the other. A minor inconvenience. I'd buy again for sureIf you're a tradesman and use cutters all the time (electrician) - you're gonna want something more. These are fine for the home DIY guy.

An all around great product. Smooth cuts and sharpness that helps me do my job with ease.

Decent quality for the price. I only use them for cutting zipties and perform as they should

I purchased these cutters for the express purpose of cutting zip-ties. They work like a dream. I won't speculate on how they would cut anything else because I don't care. They cut little, medium, and large zip-ties and that's what I want them for.
