Sram Adult PC1170 114 Links 11 Speed Chain

Makes fitting and removing chains so much quicker and more simple. Cleaning a chain becomes much easier. You do ideally need a tool to assist though: I made one after much filing on the tips of some old crimp pliers.I remove and soak a chain in an old plastic bottle with some paraffin in it having given it a quick shake. After an hour or two of cycle maintenance I then remove it from the bottle (which will be good to use again in future so may as well put a lid on it and retain it) by hooking out with an old spoke, and then replace with a powerlink to fix it together. That way it's sparkling clean and won't rust. I'll then lube in place on the bike.Without a powerlink this would be a different proposition, with = easy thorough chain maintenance = less effort for the same return at the pedals!

Product was delivered promptly.Although I have an 11 speed cassette, I still had to take 6 links out otherwise it was way to slack.Once I’d sussed that out I was away….. 🚴‍♂️

Perfect done the job fine, but then it was to go with a sram gearsetFitment was easy and the sram joiner aided this.Probably going to get a second as a spare

I used to go for the Dura-Aces 7900s but they just didnt last the effort but this chain is back to the good old sram of the past.Quality item for the steepest of climbs

I always get these chains seem to last about 2000-2500 miles ( a lot of climbing ) don't know if that's good or not

The chain itself is good but the description is slightly misleading because while it does fit with a master link/quick link you need to supply one of these yourself to fit it.

The chain looks and feels good. The pivots work smoothly.It was easy to install and the joiner link works well.

I am normally a Shimano chain guy, but during the pandemic those chains were hard to come by. I used this on my GRX equipped drivetrain and was pleasantly surprised. It installs like any other change, and you do not need to worry about the directionality like Shimano chains. The included PoweLock is sweet, and works as well as they always do. It is just as quiet as other chains I use. I have a little over 1200 miles on it since installing it, and have had no issues. I consider this a good alternative, and will keep these in mind the next time I need an 11 speed chain.

Die 1091r Kette ist genau wie beschrieben mehr als schnell bei mir angekommen. Kurz auf die richtige Länge gekürzt, montiert und mir dem mitgelieferten Kettenschloss geschlossen.
