What a waste
I’m pretty savvy about home improvement projects since I had to rebuild our home after hurricane Harvey. No project scares me. I decided to rip down wallpaper, patch, print and then paint our half bath. I’ve painted many times and was interested bc everyone hates messy trim work. This product is a no-go for me. I educated myself, watched YouTube’s, the videos from Emery. Yeah, big no. It doesn’t work at all. I had my husband try. He couldn’t get it to work either. Skip this purchase. Buy good tape and seal it with a thin line of base paint and you’ll get your clean lines. This is a waste of $ and time.

A Must-Have Tool for Any DIYer!
As a pretty handy guy who’s always adding to my home improvement list, the Emery Edger is a game changer. I’ve tried other edgers before, but they either drip or leave marks—this one does exactly what it says. No messy pads or wheels to worry about, and it attaches perfectly to my 2-inch flat brush. Makes painting trim and edges a breeze. I knocked out an entire room without tape, and the lines were crisp every time. If you’re serious about your projects, this tool needs to be in your kit. Worth every penny!

Might be a helpful tool
Seems like a handy tool, however, I'm having a hard time finding a brush to fit

Not universal
The idea for this product is wonderful. Taping before painting is such a tedious job, but the mess you have if you don't tape is worse. I was hopeful this would save me some time and clean up. I ordered it to fit the 2 inch paintbrush I had purchased, however it didn't fit. It was too tight, it wouldn't screw together. I was unable to use it.

Not helpful enough
I did not find this product particularly helpful and ended up returning it. I did follow written and video instructions. The paint brush was abysmal. I’m not someone who generally buys the best quality brushes for my projects. I’ve often made use of brushes from the dollar store and this paint brush had nothing on those. It just didn’t hold a lot of paint and that combined with the design of the tool made the device a non-starter for me. Because the tool has to be set even with the tip of the brush bristles, you can’t push down on the bristles to even get a little more bang from the amount of paint the brush will hold. The tip of the brush just doesn’t hold enough paint. You can’t even paint a 6 inch long strip of wall space before needing to re-dip (which while easily done is a 3-step process, so not very effecent if you’re having to do it every 10seconds). The tool itself was of good quality material and the edging line was thin enough that the tool could have been effective with a really good quality brush (an additional $8 or more). Honestly though, if I think about spending over $20 total to get this product to work right, I’d rather spend less money and get better (and more effecent) results by purchasing a Shur-line type edger with refills. I’d originally tried this product over a traditional style edger in hopes it could help with painting molding itself (near the wall, floor, or ceiling line), but it was alomost completely useless for that purpose. To be fair, the manufacturer doesn’t claim it can be useful with painting molding. It only claims to be effective with painting the wall space leading up to the molding, but as mentioned above, it was ineffective there as well.

Simplifies Painting Projects
I'm not a huge fan of painting. For sure my least favorite part is the prep work. When I saw this tool, I figured it was worth a shot if it would mean I didn't have to tape off a bunch of stuff or risk messy edges. At this point I've only used it twice but it's totally met or exceeded my expectations. I did watch the video tutorial which was super helpful for making sure I had the right setup, and then I went to work on my son's bedroom. This edger totally transformed my painting experience. I'm not saying I'm now a huge fan of painting, but the fact that I can use this instead of doing a bunch of taping/protecting of surfaces just makes it so much simpler to take on a painting project. I ordered 2 more for my sisters since we all have house projects going on.

Don’t waste your Money
Very cheaply made. You can go to dollar store and buy better brushes. Don’t I say again don,t waste your money. It is a pain to cut in paint between ceilings and walls, so my boy found this and so I bought it hopin to get a professional results with saving time. I tried to work with it even though after opening the package and seeing how cheaply made it is the results were not a shock. I missed the date I could return it so I am warning everyone else that wants a professional result. You get what you pay for.

Avoid, just buy some sash or cutting in brushes instead.
