Super cold and easy to install
Very nice product. I was astonished how cold it was when I took it out of packaging. Very easy to install due to its adhesive surface. Worked perfectly.

Used on an old asus N55SF
Thermal grizzly, a brilliant company who know what they are doing. TL:DR This is a good product I had an old asus laptop, an N55SF to be precise, that was constantly overheating, its i7 4th gen processor clocking down to 800mhz, so i removed the cpu cooler, applied liquid metal and noticed the VRMS were cooled with thermal adhesive glue rather than pads, akthough it can be argued they are more thermally conductive it is important to note that they do not fill all the micro cracks and imperfections in cooliing plates and even the cpu/gpu die's themselves micro air gaps cause heat build up. Using Isopropyl Alcohol, some cotton buds and a lot of elbow grease I cleaned it up, applied liquid metal and then on the VRMS used these thermal Pads to replace the adhesive. Lo and behold the temps were at 82 degrees under full load while hitting 4.0ghz boost on all 4 cores.

Does at least 3 ps4s
Works well, seemed to help keep noise/temps down on the ps4. One packet has done 3 ps4s so far (2 pro, 1 base) with some left over (unknown if it can do a 4th). Only issue I have is the harder plastic side is difficult to get off the pad when applying it without accidentally destroying the pad - most likely a skill issue on my part in applying it.

Great thermal pads, helped to achieve 10°c temp drop
Bought this to add some extra cooling to my Dell XPS 15. Added to my ram chips, WiFi card, vrm chip + others. Easy to work with and high quality. Combining this with repasting the CPU+GPU, and undervolting the CPU the laptop now runs much cooler (at least -10°c) feels faster and the fans kick in less which appears to have also increased battery life. Very happy

Watch comparison videos before buying
There's multiple videos and articles that will show how these thermal pads are nothing special. Other pads will do a better job when it comes to lowering temperatures/fan noise. Two examples are: Gelid Solutions GP-Ultimate and NAB Cooling NB Supermax. Although the catch is that these two pads are harder to apply. They're brittle so it's easy to break them apart and almost impossible to reuse them because of this. The Grizzly pads are far more flexible and can be reused, but their cooling performance is considerably worse. If you just want to lower temperatures or fan noise and don't care about reusability, get either of the Gelid or NAB pads instead. Both perform and feel exactly the same so just get whichever one is cheaper or available. But be very careful when handling them.

This stuff is worth it
Bought a Titan GTX card because my old GTX980 decided to go potato. Replacement card is itself a second hand purchase and I suspect it had a hard life before it ended up in my rig. Performance was fine for surfing the internet, but it struggled to game and remain below 90 degrees Celsius. The temperatures came down drastically when I replaced the crusty old pads with this stuff. Now the card barely licks the 74 degree Celsius mark and that's on triple A titles like the Witcher 3.

Never worked for me
I took the playstation apart and replaced all pads and thermal gel with a good clean too and it made no difference to fan noise and overheating.......if I'm going to be honest it may of just been me, I put new pads on all right places but totally covered chips not realising original ones where smaller and I may of overdone them not realising they transfere heat and maybe mine should of been smaller too. I never got the chance to redo it because when I took the playstation back apart I accidently snapped the plug on board connecting fan and my attempt to solder back catastrophic to my beloved playstation. In the bin it went :( ADDED TO REVIEW 1ST NOV 2020 I took ps totally apart and discovered the loud noise was a totally blocked heat sink.... Bit like blocking end of hairdrier while on and that was cause of overheat and extremely loud fan..... Problem totally fixed so I take back any negatives as I don't really know if pads work.... Grandson is made up, like a new ps My advice... Buy t8 screwdriver and watch YouTube clip to fix noisy ps

PS4 Pro fan noise eliminator!
I came here after watching a youtube video on how to make my PS4 Pro run quietly. I had stripped my console right back a few times in the past to remove dust which collects in the heat sink, but the jet engine kept coming back when graphically demanding games were being played, so I figured it was time to do something about it! This product is excellent when bought together with the Thermal Grizzly compound. What you will notice when replacing the thermal pads is, the originals are tiny and not adequate. The first set you replace on the memory chips are small, so be careful to take your time getting them cut just right. The second set of pads you replace under that aluminium cover are going to be much larger than the originals, these are much easier to fit. I gave it a good test today and its silent! This product really is the muts nuts. One thing I would suggest BEFORE you fit these is to strip your console right back and clean that fan and heatsink first. Take your time and have a black marker to help you remember where the black screws go. If you already know what your doing then just buy this stuff! You cant even compare it to the original junk thats on there. You even get two strips in the pack!
