I hate leaving bad reviews, especially when the product works...The problem is not with the Velcro (or hook and loop if we are being "pc") , the problem is actually that it secures too strongly!Sounds stupid but the tape on the back (that you secure the Velcro to whatever you are trying to fasten) is not as strong as the Velcro itself, so it works fine the first time you attach the two sides together, but when you pull them apart, the tape will come off before the Velcro separates!I had to super glue the two sides on before it would work!I'm sure to some people this would be a useful thing, but, I imagine that most will want to be able to separate and reattach the two sides and so this simply won't work!

I have used this type of velcro tape before and found that the adhesive is weak. The adhesive is very strong and so is the velcro. It was a little to wide (at 1") for some of the application I was using it for, but was easily trimmed down. This is no fault of the product itself, just some extra information to help you decide if this will work for you.

This is an interesting one - first of all I must say the inside (hook and loop) part is very strong, which is mostly a good thing if you want to stick it once and leave it there (I stuck a mirror on my wardrobe and it is a very strong hold).If you want to use it to detach 2 parts of the tape from one another, this is where you will run into problems. The hook and loop (inside) hold is so strong that sometimes it will peel the whole strip from the surface (wall) or from the product (whiteboard for example). On occasion I peeled the strip together with the paint from the wall, so be very careful when removing these strips. So good to "attach and forget", but not for detaching multiple times.Additionally, I tried to attach a greenscreen to the wall (both synthetic and 100% cotton) and it would not hold AT ALL, no matter how hard and long you press the material to the adhesive strip. Now that I checked, it does say in the product description the back is not SUPER sticky to fabric, but I want to make sure potential buyers understand it does not hold fabric at all.I resorted to Command Strips (more expensive) for the greenscreen, but my mirror is hanging perfectly on these hook and loop strips.

The tape works fine, but like some others have commented, I found the adhesive in the back somewhat weak. Almost always the force required to separate the tape pulls off the tape from the surface it was glued to. A nuisance if you plan to close and open it often. Probably useful if you just want to stick it up once and leave it there.

Well my order came on time which i was very pleased about good value for the money.it better than what was on my door net itself,would recommend very strong really plsd.

Best value i could find given the length and quality, adhesive really good, and both hook and loop stay fastened well with release paper coming off easily.

For the price they're pretty good but it depends on what you stick 'em on. I've got some on a plastic type material but the glue can't hold when unfastening the other half. The ones holding metal are fine, no problems.
