Good Product, Good Company
Awesome fit and good addition. While it was sent with missing parts, the good folks at Monstrum promptly corrected the problem and made everything right. Not first product from them but everything I have purchased from them has been guaranteed and they strive to make the customer satisfied.

Good product!
Bought this for a Maverick 88.Mainly for the ability to add an optic, but the shell holder was an additional plus. All 3 mounting holes lined up correctly,so installation was easy. I will say that the fit-up was tight(a great thing),but almost too tight.I put a piece of black electrical tape on each side before i slide it on,or it probably would've scratched the metal. Its made of quality materials.Shell holder holds the shells nice and tight. Would recommend to others!

Perfect fit and great look
All pieces were included. It fits my maverick 88 perfectly and looks badass! The extra fasteners included are probably used in the 590. 6 round capacity, not 5, so that's a bonus win.

TOO TIGHT
As others said you may have to open up unit so you WON'T mark up your guns finish. I used a 2x4 piece to hammer to spread out the tongues. I still marked up my mavericks finish. The screws provided to mount unit are soft and can strip heads. My holes did line up but the hole, that you install the screw through the open breach, on my gun was not threaded all the way through. Thus stripping the head of the provided screw. They did provide 2 screws, I wonder why? But only those two. THE SCREWS ARE AN ISSUE TO ME. THEY NEED TO PROVIDE MORE OR HARDER SCREWS.If you are going to clean your trigger, bolt, and other parts around them after every use, the soft screws are going to be an issue, in my opinion. The two screws in the pin holding in the trigger in place also holds the unit in place. If you did not spread the unit wide enough every time you have to pull the pin you will mark up your gun more to pull the pin.All of the issues I had and still see as issues I really like this unit. The rail is NOT a screw on rail. It is molded as part of the unit. The unit is stiff or firm NOT easy to bend. Thus why I had to take a 2x4 to try to spread to tongues. So I will say it is a solid unit. I like it !! I will update with any issues or likes.

Practical & Tacticool
Rail fits perfectly onto the Mossberg Maverick 88, just be careful not to overtighten any screws when you secure it to the firearm. This picatinny rail gives you so many more options for modern day optics to be mounted for use, although you can use the original bead iron sights through the center channel after install if you really want. Be careful when sliding on the mount to avoid any of the scracthing issues people have talked about, just go slow and thoughtful, I installed mine with no issues. Very impressed by the overall construction and feel, as well as the shells holding snugly without any visible migration.

Screws stripped immediately! Product useless!
The media could not be loaded. Screws are of unbelievably bad quality.Crosspin screws stripped immediately when using the hex wrench that came with them.I cannot get them off to even begin installation.Screw that goes into the side of the receiver through the ejector spring barely survived the first installation and is badly chewed up.No way it survives multiple removals for cleaning.Product looks nice and fairly solid, but that is irrelevant if the screws holding it together are of horrible quality.
