I am a old school knife sharpener. I only use my hands no powered tools. I purchased the Bacher strop with 4 small jars of polish compound and placed the polish in very hot water to soften the polish. Second I used the provided leather applicator and using green fine I applied it to the smooth leather covering it completely. The supplied jar was just enough. I then repeated the process on the rough leather side using white polish. You must wait 24 hours for the polish to harden. I then stropped my sharpened knife on the green polished leather. You can feel the fine grit. I then wiped my blade and tested the result. The blade is sharper and I am able to say my experience with Bacher polish has been a positive one for sure. I threw away my stick polishes. I found a much better product. Price to value is measured by the quality results. For me it's worth every cent. This larger jar will last me for many years.

Aparte deja el inoxidable brillante como un espejo, no es milagroso y no deja un acabado profesional pero las manchas de patina en acero al carbono las saca Si hace frío y la notas muy dura en el envase se puede aplicar algo de calor con un secador a baja potencia y queda blanda como el betún Lo mismo para el cuero para asentar, queda mejor si calientas antes un poco y seca antes y penetra más si aplicas algo de calor después. Para quitar la vieja basta con lijar con grano grueso con cuidado de no romper el cuero En aceros de baja dureza como el 12c27 deja un pulido espectacular, luego cortan mucho mejor. La pasta verde es más un capricho que otra cosa, no la veo muy necesaria para dejar un buen filo que corte

Jemand, der hochwertige Messer schleift, wie ich, hat aber kein Problem, die Dose zu richten, damit der Schraub-Mechanismus wieder funktioniert. Die Ware schicke ich deshalb natürlich nicht zurück.
