There's nothing really wrong with this product itself. It works fine, the case is well made enough. However, once I had it, I was struck with the pointlessness of it. The Kindle Fire will never be a laptop replacement. It isn't made for that. You can't really use it for anything you would need a laptop for. The iPad can get away with that, it has the processing power for it. The Fire doesn't. It is for entertainment; watching movies, reading books, surfing the web, that sort of thing. By using this keyboard, you're essentially doubling the weight of your tablet to add functionality you don't need. Buy a cheap laptop or chromebook for that, not this. Don't treat your Fire as something it's not.

The keyboard actually works flawlessly. Easiest connect to a Kindle I've ever had. The case stores both the Kindle 10 and the keyboard. But in order to use the keyboard the keyboard has to be moved out of the case. The Kindle itself is too heavy to allow this to happen on anything other than a flat hard surface. So for instance if you were hoping to use it on your lap, on a bus, in the waiting room of an airport waiting for your flight to be called...You are still going to need a flat hard surface to support this rig.Otherwise quality product completely as advertised. But if you are looking for something to convert a Kindle into a true tablet flip open and type, this isn't it. Completely my fault, I don't think they misrepresented anything.

I have to give it to this seller -- there was a serious problem and they made it right very quickly. The first bluetooth keyboard I received seemed to work fine with other devices, but not with the Fire HD tablet that I had purchased the case for. We tried everything to make it reconnect and reset, etc., but for some reason the Caps function and shift key would only work one time, then stop functioning while connected. It was completely unworkable. But the company sent an "updated" keyboard within days -- and it works perfectly every time. In fact, the keys are quite responsive and, for such a small keyboard, it is surprisingly easy to type on. My productivity is up and I am very impressed. The case works as expected, looks nice, seems durable, and when I stick the magnetic keyboard in there it effectively replaces my laptop for quite a few tasks. In the end, I was thrilled with the purchase.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  CAPS key causes keyboard stop to work....(Here is what I have: Fire HD 10 2017 version - updated to FireOS 5.6 - default keyboard setting: US. I got both fire HD 10 tablet and keyboard on the same day. I tested keyboard right after updating FireOS to 5.6 without messing with other settings)Tested it for a couple hours, I can enable to CAPS key (CPAS light is on) and keep typing. However when I tried to disable CAPS, the CAPS light on keyboard stays on and the whole keyboard stop working (tablet doesn't take any input from keyboard and won't switch to virtual keyboard mode. Tried to turn off and on the keyboard, not help). I have to disconnect bluetooth and reconnect it again to get this keyboard work, but again, the problem of CAPS key persists.(The keyboard works fine if I hold shift key and switch between lowercase/uppercase)This is quite serious issue for me since the reason why I purchased this keyboard is to increase productivity (typing) while I am traveling with the tablet.My assumption are:1) Hardware issue - will have to return and replace for a new one2) Software issue - it has something to do with FireOS. This is probably beyond vendor's controlI am willing to update my review depending on vendor's response.Other than deadly keyboard issue...The case has pretty solid quality and provides excellent protection. I absolutely love it! It holds my Fire HD perfectly.The keyboard perfectly fits into the case and the case hold keyboard pretty tight with strong magnet.The case does come with a little bit smell but not a big deal for me. (To be fair this happens quite often to other products too. I love this case. I have had it for 7 months and it works great. The only thing is that I accidentally scratched it very forcefully and a piece came off. I have dropped it countless times and I still haven't found a scratch, dent, or crack in my kindle. I have had water spill on it and it has dried very fast. The keyboard is AMAZING. I am using it now to type this. It connects so fast and I barely charge it. My mom used it half the time for her Ipad. It definitely works with more than a kindle. I also use it for typing essays on my phone. But overall this is probably the best case I have gotten. Hope this helps!!😀

Pros:Great heavy duty plasic case inside the wrap case.The artwork is beautiful.Good protectionI love everything about the keyboard Its light, the magnet works really well. all the specific programmed keys work really well with my tablet. i dont have to touch my tablet to open it, i can use my keyboard for everything. keys feel amazing to the touch and i like the you can detatch and use keyboard from a distance.battery is phenomenal. bluetooth connectivity is quick and easy to use.Cons:Wish the keyboard had a gripping back material instead of being slick and smooth plastic. Wish there was another way to stand the tablet up it slips out of the little grooves if the keyboard isnt there to stabilize it.

I really like this case and keyboard. The only problem I encountered was that the keyboard did not charge regardless of how long it was plugged in. However, this company responded very quickly and replaced the entire unit so I have upgraded my rating from four to five stars. I am very happy with my purchase and the ease of obtaining a replacement. Battery works just fine. Definitely would deal with this company again.

I find it doesn't hold up my kindle very well when just trying to read. When it "slips" from the upright position the kindle turns off and I have to turn it back on and reset the kindle. Like that the keyboard comes off and is magnetized, but its heavy, the kindle is also heavy, its heavier then a 17" laptop together, not what I wanted. Not worth the price tag of 50 bucks that's for certain.

I am very happy with my purchase, this Fintie keyboard case works really well with my Amazon Fire tablet. The case is beautiful, well made, has adjustable screen angles, the keyboard is lightweight, easy to set up, magnetic so it stays put and fits nicely with the tablet. Absolutely love it.

Nice look and perfect the Amazon's tablets. BUT, hard to connect with the tablet after putting in off. If you keep your keyboard always on, it's gonna be fine when you open your tablet if will connect fast. Also, I'm canadian and there is multiples symbols I can't do with this keyboard. But overall, it's nice and keep the tablets in place.
