I have a large beard and have used many products over the years. I've been using Oud Enigma Luxury Beard Oil for a week now, and I'm thoroughly impressed. The scent is a sophisticated blend of black oud, sandalwood, and subtle hints of vanilla creating an aroma that's both masculine and refined. The oil absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue, making my beard feel soft and manageable. The combination of organic oils has noticeably reduced itchiness and improved the overall health and appearance of my beard. Positives:-Luxury beard oil.Lovely “Essence of Man” fragrance, which lasts throughout the day.A little oil goes a very long way.Choice of 5 different scents.Negatives:-Only that I question the need for such elaborate packaging in these environmentally aware days.Observations:-Came in a very elaborate black cardboard box, measuring 170mm(L) x 108mmW) x 65mm(H) externally, with an integral top folded in 2 places, and fitted with 4 flaps - 2 flaps to fit inside the top of the base, and the other 2 inside its front.In addition to being overprinted in gold & white with “Lord Of The Beards” logos externally, the top was printed with a very attractive pattern throughout internally, including its 4 flaps.The inside of the base was fitted with a bespoke black cardboard insert, with a cutout which housed a very sturdy tubular container, measuring 60mm(Diameter) x 128mm(H) externally.This black tubular container was overprinted in gold & white with “Lord Of The Beards” logos and relevant information on its lid, base and circumference.Internally it was fitted with a bespoke black rigid foam insert at the bottom, with a cutout to hold the bottle of Luxury Beard Oil in place.This bottle measured only 36mm(Diameter) x 110mm(H), and it was overprinted only in white.A black “Thank You” card was also enclosed, with a code for “£5 off your next purchase”, but I do not know whether or not that applies to orders placed with Amazon UK.Conclusion:-I do not see the necessity, or justification, to use such an elaborate 170mm x 108mm x 65mm box for a bottle measuring only 36mm x 110mm.IMO, the 60mm x 128mm tubular container is more than adequate for this purpose, and still gives the impression that it contains a luxury product.Should an additional rectangular container have been deemed to be necessary by the manufacturer for transit purposes, I still do not see the justification for such an ostentatious, oversized cardboard box, and I wonder how much its inclusion added to this product’s cost.So I have deducted a star for what I consider to be the use of unnecessary, OTT packaging.

I've tried a few beard oils, and this one is definitely my favorite. The bottle isn't huge, but it lasts longer than you'd expect. It keeps my beard feeling nice and smelling good. After about a week of regular use, I noticed my beard looking healthier.Overall, I'd recommend it if you're looking for a good beard oil.

It does smell ok granted.... however, a non scented beard oil. Allows you to use your preferred favourite aftershave or cologne and there are much cheaper oils of the same quality. Too fancy packaging and too.much of itbl for the tiny bottle of oil inside.

Leaves my beard soft , moisturising oil ,so stops the old flakes . Last for most of the day. Good price .

Has you can see from pics it comes fully boxed and within an inner tub for protection. Feels great on the skin already and smells nice. I think it's value for money and I will continue to order when needed.

I find the problem with a lot of beard balms/oils is the greasy nature of them. No such problems here. It's easy to apply and smells lovely. I got the citrus forest variant, which has a fragrance which reminds me a little bit of CK One. Fruity, but masculine enough to use for most daily/nocturnal activities. Bonus points for the packaging too, which may be a little excessive, but gives a great impression that you're buying a quality product.I am dropping a point because the bottle didn't have the squirty top like in the Amazon pictures. It was instead fitted with what looks like a dropper (the kind you find in serums). Perhaps a manufacturing error specific to me only, but it does make applying it to my face harder than it should.
