These connectors came in as expected. I've tested them to 80A and they held up. They work with every other Dean T connector I have. My package, however, was lacking the heat shrink tubing. I don't have the energy to send them back over this. But I'll go looking for a different vendor in the future if this is what's to be expected for QA.To those having problems soldering to these. Keep in mind that heavy wire and thick pins are giant heat sinks. Use leaded solder so you can solder at a lower temperature. Heavily tin the wire. Then, tin the connector and build up a blob of solder the width of the connector's pin. Add flux on this blob, place the wire over the blob and heat the wire with your iron until all the solder blob is molten. This should give you a quick and solid connection. And don't forget to slide the heat shrink over the wire before soldering.

The connectors seem to be of good quality. Had no issues soldering them, but time will tell how they hold up with use. Used them to swap over some battery connections and make a couple adapters for my R/C boat.My only grip is with the heat shrink tubing. I did received both red and black colors, the heat shrink tubing itself does the job, but they only provided enough for half the connectors....not a huge deal as I do have heat shrink tubing on hand, but not good for someone if they are relying on the provided tubing.

Connectors are structurally fine and do the job. The heat shrink supplied was useless. While I also received only black heat shrink, it is also too large. If you are soldering anything 18 gauge or less, then you will need to use a smaller heat shrink. The shrink provided appears to be a 2:1 and after shrinking will be able to slide and expose the connection.

I love the added bonus of the included heatshrink.these things work perfect for my 2s lipo vehicles.I always suggest for easy connection to use a razor blade to bevel the edge of the female plugs so the male plug slides in easier and the retention spring doesn't get caught on the lip or ledge of it and bend wrong. Haven't had an issue yet however!

Connects are as expected. Strong, soldered fine and work great.Got a bunch of red heat shrink tubing and only a couple black pieces. Lame

I'm pretty darn good at soldering..and fast...and I had trouble not overheating the plastic and loosening up the fit... I went thru every male piece I had to get 3 soldered correctly that didnt distort the plastic. I have had issues in the past with some Dean's before but not like these....

Bought these to practice soldering before I actually used them for my airsoft gun upgrades. They solder nice the fit is tight , maybe a little too tight.

Sometimes when buying connectors like this, you find the manufacturer cheaped out and the plastic melt s when you apply the heat shrink tubing. Not the case here. No problems with melting.
