Onite 2PCS LED Strip Dimmer Switch, USB Female to Male Extension Cord with Dimmable Rotary Switch

So many times, USB gadgetry is disappointing. This dimmer has been in use for over 3 years, and it is excellent. It dims a strip of LEDs under the molding on my computer hutch. It allows for cranking the light up to full brightness for reading things on the desk or dimming it to a pale night light. It's the perfect control for what is effectively a backlight for my monitor -- the dimmer stops it from being glaring or blinding.

I didnt have high hopes for these, but I was pleasantly surprised since they work well.

I used these to dim the LED strips in my tent, and they work just fine. The whole dimmer wheel assembly is really oversized, and that is my only criticism at all. Otherwise I’m very happy with this product!

Just received these today, they seem like a quality product. They dim simple USB LED lights like I'd expect them to. Incidentally, these are the same dimmer switches that came on some rodent/lizard heating pads I recently bought, so it seems like a common part.(I say simple USB LEDs because I know they won't work for complex LED drivers that have their own voltage and current regulating circuits and twinkle/dimming IC).

I bought these to lower the voltage from a USB power brick to the Lighttailing kits I have for some of my LEGO sets and they worked perfectly for dialing in the brightness level and keeping the lights from getting burnt out.One thing to note is that the description says they use a push button to adjust brightness but it’s actually a physical dial which is exactly what I wanted.

I used them on led neon looking signs. They were extremely bright and now I can adjust from dim to bright.

This was the perfect solution to my “Now Spinning” vinyl record holder on my vintage hifi system. The LED lights were way too bright and covering them with translucent tape wasn’t enough. It finally hit me to search for a USB dimmer switch and here we are.These units are lightweight plastic and don’t feel overly sturdy, which is expected at this price point. However, I didn’t expect the “click” that powers on/off so that was a pleasant surprise.

Good quality and useful item

USB接続の静穏ファンの回転数を下げる目的で購入しましたが、ファンからうなり音が出てきて静穏どころではくなりました。

NFJのFX-1002Jをオペアンプを4631と627AUに交換し32Vで使用すると全体が熱くなるので、大事に使いたいのでELUTENG USBファン 8cm で冷やそうと試みたのですが、結構風力が強く、そのために爆音がするので、ボリューム付きケーブルとして購入しました。皆さんの書き込み通り、フル以外はキューという雑音が必ずします。PCからでも100VからのDCアダプターからでもダメでした。私は爆音と雑音をのギリギリのボリューム位置で、どうにか実用になりそうです。LEDでは試していませんが、正直ファンの調整用としては、音響的にはまず無理だと思います。それでも必要な人には買う意味があるかもです。2個入っていました。

以前Oniteのタッチ式スイッチを、車内自作2連式換気扇に使用していましたが、どうにも使用するに不便でしたので、こちらのツマミ式の商品を購入しました。 スイッチ本体はかなり大きく、厚みも倍以上厚くなりましたがON・OF時のカチッと、あの音と指への感触がとても良いです。また、弱から強への範囲が広いので、自在にコントロールできます。やはり操作を五感で感じることができるのは良いですね。ちなみに商品説明には載っていなかったのですが、本体のみ(スイッチ部分)のサイズは、L6.5cm×W3.2cm×T2.5cmで、ダイヤルを含めると厚み(T)3.5cmありますのでご参考に……。使用目的はかなりあると思いますが、一番いい方法を探すのも楽しみの一つです。 私は車内換気扇に使用していますが、以前のタッチ式は低Aでも回りましたが、こちらの商品は、2.4A以下のUSBポートでは回らないのが気になりました。

USBファン用に２使いましたが２つともとてもつかえたものではありませんでした。きーんという音がなるだけで一向にまわりませんでした。原因を探すためいろいろと他のファンなどにつないで調べたところ弱弱しくまわるファンがあったため電圧と電流を見てみたところ通常0.25A流れるファンに0.14Aしか流れていませんでした（もちろんこの製品のメモリは最強の状態です）そしてこれともうひとつの製品の方に関しては、電流が小さすぎるのかどのファンでも回りませんでした。試しにUSBライトにつないだところ弱弱しく灯りましたので電流は流れるようですがこれでは使い物になりません。本当に無駄な買い物をしてしまいました。

一番安いLEDライトパネルが無段階調光機能付になったので満足しています。コントローラー部分のケーブル処理が残念なんで減点1で。
