Unitron Smart Control Hearing Aid Remote

This unit does work, as long as your audiologist links it properly. You can increase the volume by 6 steps up from "home" by pressing on "+" key and reduce volume from "home" by 11 steps by pressing the "-" key (effectively making your aid as if it were turned off). Whenever you want to return to "standard setting" just press the "home" key. It is wise to have your audiologist turn off the "check mark- program key" so you do not inadvertently set your home to some odd setting and then have to have your audiologist reset it! You have to check the "on/off" switch periodically so it does not get turned on running the battery down by just "bumping around"... I carry mine on my key ring with car fobs. I wish it was more compact as it is kind of "clunky" - unnecessarily large in my mind.

I lost my "smart control" and could not adjust the aids which was a pain to say the least. In other words, the "smart control" is a needed if you are going to get full benefit from your aids.

Was happy to get a remote on my hearing aids , I'm now more in charge to hear in dificult circumstances , a hearing clinic did the syncronizing and it works perfect for Me.

I had a remote and lost it. This was a replacement. Only bad, you have take it and your aids to your hearing guy.

This is a great remote with many options, the onlything I dislike is that the on and off switch isnot very good and it will turn on or off when movementin the pocket of a man. Probably not a problem forladies.
