Nice and neat. Also, sturdy and spacious enough to hold books and several other "put away" kinds of items. I'm very impressed with construction that allowed it to be flattened into a fairly small box for shipping then easily pulled up which is all that is required for assembly. GREAT deal for the price.

This storage ottoman is super sturdy and made of faux leather, but honestly, the quality is impressive. It feels really well-made and durable. The best part is how much it can hold—it fits way more than you'd think without looking bulky. It’s spacious enough for all sorts of things and it doesn’t feel heavy or awkward to move around. I love that it opens from either side—making it even more convenient to access whatever you need. The divider is optional too, so you can adjust the interior based on how you want to organize things. I just received my black SONGMICS Cube Shaped Storage Ottoman. I'm very impressed! It arrived in a flatbox, but quickly folds out to a cube. Next, you insert the bottom square into the cube. The bottom immediately stabilizes it. The lid then goes on top. Considering the price, the lid looks excellent...not cheap or junky in the least. I did not detect the common strong chemical smell of some new products, but the instructions say to keep it open for 2 to 3 days to air it out so there's no scent at all. It doesn't seem necessary, but I'm doing it just to be safe.This cube is a wonderful upgrade from the makeshift stack of heavy shoebox-sized photo boxes I had been using by my couch to hold my TV remotes. This cube, unlike my photoboxes, would be a great foot rest. And unlike my shoeboxes, I can put a tray of food and drink on top of the cube with no worries of it tipping or sliding. It is also very strong and can take a more than two hundred pound person. Good to note that the instructions caution you not to drop down forcefully on it. I would say this normally only comes into play if you have children, especially teen boys. I also cannot say how the faux leather on top would stand up to cat or dog scratching, but that's more than any piece of "furniture" should be expected to survive.I don't immediately know what I will put inside the cube for storage, but I'm thrilled to have one more place to stash afghans or boxes of candles.Great product. Very well built and very well finished. I'm so happy with it!I highly recommend this product. Though I cannot say how long it will last, my first experience makes me expect I will have it a long time.

I purchased this (43 inch) storage ottoman a year ago in Jan. & it's still in excellent condition! It's nice looking & very versatile. I live in a small studio apt. I originally ordered this to put at the foot of my full size bed for some much needed extra storage. And while it was a perfect size, it made my apt. look smaller, so I planned to return it. While deciding what to do with it, I placed it in my long hallway, under a hugh painting and to my surprise, it looked great there! So I kept it.I find it to be sturdy. (I don't have young kids or pets). If I still had my cat, I know it would be a favorite place for her to lay with a soft blanket! :) I use it to store odds & ends, but also some linens & throw blankets & pillows. It holds a lot! It's so convenient that you can open each side of the lid, rather than taking the whole thing off. ~ I sit on it all the time ~ It's in a hallway so while it's not regular seating, I do make good use of it. For reference, I am a 148 pound female. It's held up extremely well.It was so easy to put together....but one complaint is that it did come with an odor. I aired it out & the odor lessened, but to this day it still has a faint "cedar" smell. Not strong at this point, but there. A nice looking useful piece. Only downside was the odor.

I bought this storage bench because I recently moved to a 1 bedroom apt on my own and I've come from 2 bedroom apts in which I now do not have the storage space I use to have. Had to get rid of alot of stuff and bought this bench to store away comforters, blankets and/or throw blankets in order to make more room in my closet. This was so easy to put together and I was so afraid to sit on it thinking it's going to break apart the minute I do. Finally I got up the nerve and sat on it lightly at first then all the way lol...I weigh 150 Lbs and it held me up so it does hold up well. It also looks great with my bed frame which is white as well. I would definitely recommend this storage bench if you need extra storage, it's deep enough to hold at least 2 comforters and several blankets/etc... it's very sturdy and the cover has a nice thickness that makes it comfy when you sit and it looks like leather although it's faux leather.

The outer package was a bit damaged, from shipping I am sure, so I was concerned, but the product itself was in great condition. This was a perfect size for my son’s room, which is a smaller room, it sits at the foot of the bed, and is great for storage. Can hold quite a bit.

Bought this for shoe storage for our camper. Very happy with the purchase. Quality and looks match the price point and I would certainly recommend it and would purchase again.

These work great in a bay window area that includes an enormous plant. Using to store dog products and shoes. Really neaten up area. NOTE: Directions show that there is a supporting piece at halfway mark. NOT on 30-inchers. Even the company's customer service didn't know that. And for the 30-inchers, not necessary. Other than confusion, highly recommend.
