BellroyLite Ready Pack (18L lightweight weekend backpack) - ArcadeGray

I purchased this for an upcoming trip to Ireland, lots of walking & hiking - the quality is excellent so I am sure I will love it!

It’s lightweight, and big enough (without overpowering smaller people), with nice clean lines for those of us who care about fashion😆

This would be a 5 star review of this backpack, but it seems that it suffers from the same issue as a lot of the newer designed backpacks (not just from Bellroy) where they put a handy easily accessible pouch on the outside, but everyone seems to be putting this pouch near the top of the bag, so that if there isnt much in the main compartment of the bag, the items in the outside pouch weigh down the backpack and have no rigidity to them, if they would just place the pouch near the bottom it would be so much more effective. But other than that I love the backpack and it worked great on a trip through Europe for a convenient day pack.

As I get older I'm quickly realizing that becoming more minimalist and lighter with my everyday backpacks is definitely the way to go, especially after suffering immense back pain from carrying a heavy backpack on my vacation trips. I strongly believe the Bellroy Lite Ready is an amazing replacement for lightweight traveling, going to the gym, and going to school but not the best for corporate employees. **disclaimer I bought this on a discount, I don't think the MSRP of this bag is worth it. Here's why:~ Can fit at most a 12.9 inch iPad Pro maybe a M1/2 MacBook Air 13. I managed to fit a 16inch M1 Pro in the bag but couldn't close the bag up. There is also minimal to no padding for your electronics.~ Super light-weight with the ability to actually fold a stow away easily.~ Deep and large accessory pocket (deep enough to fit my iPad mini 6 in it) perfect for your sunglasses, phone, passport, AirPods, keys.~ Great back and shoulder strap cushioning for the weight and size of the pack.~ Stores relatively the same amount of content for a much smaller footprint. (compared to Osprey hikelite 18 and Patagonia 26L for reference)~ Strap for your water bladder but no inside passthrough requiring you to use your zippers to hold the water tube. Does have a passthrough holder on the shoulder strap.~ Fit's up to 20L water bottles, definitely cannot fit a 32OZ bottle in here. Also, only 1 outside pocket for your bottles.~ Bellroy quality meaning exceptionally well built. However, material used is scratchy and makes noise.~ At MSRP, there's more purpose built bags out there but at a discount I think you're getting a pretty good quality bag.~ Water-resistant bag but not waterproof. No issues handling light rain for 30 minutes but will soak if you're hiking in 1hr+ downpour.

Le pongo 4 estrellas porque sinceramente el espacio no es tan fácil de aprovechar, el diseño hace que cueste trabajo acomodar las cosas en su interior. Quizás funcione para quienes cargan su laptop y un par de cosas más, pero definitivamente no es para llevar más cosas. Le faltan más espacios o bolsas para organizar, tengo que poner otra bolsa dentro con cables y cargadores, una más con plumas, lápices y demás herramientas y difícilmente cabe algo más, la bolsa lateral es muy pequeña y no cabe una botella de agua fácilmente, a veces tengo que poner mi paraguas en esa bolsa pero queda súper ajustado.

Overall, feels good quality backpack. Something I would bring along and pack into travel luggage, use it a day backpack at destination country. Much better & faster delivery than Bellroy website one.

Nice features and good quality but looks cheap

To start off with the good points, I personally like the style of the bag and I like the little hook inside the tiny pocket to latch your keys on.However, this bag gets extremely dirty and very hard to clean. Not recommended if you mind the black stains a lot.
