The chocolate is a little bit chalky and I love it One of my favorite things about real dark chocolate is that it can be kind of chalky, and I absolutely love the juxtaposition of the creamy softness of the ice cream with the hard chalkiness of the chocolate.

Needs more MINT...
I love Tillamook ice cream. The texture is so creamy and rich. The only downside of the mint is the taste is faint. If they added more mint, this would be a 10/10. The chocolate inside is soft and melts in your mouth. Literally my go-to ice cream for a treat.

Love it
Tillamook is my favorite brand of ice cream. The mint chocolate chip is white and not green. Why? No dyes in it. They use the best ingredients. You get all that goodness at a very reasonable price.

This ice cream tastes great and has big chunks of chocolate chip chips in it. It is real ice cream with minimal ingredients in it.

Great Value, Average Taste
For the same price as most premium pints of ice cream, Tilamook gives your THREE pints -- a quart and half. That alone would almost make this worth buying, but I wasn't that pleased with the taste. While the initial taste was not bad, there was an off-flavor kind of chemical aftertaste that reminded me slightly of paint. Please don't misunderstand - I'm sure the ingredients were as claimed by the manufacturer and that no contamination took place, but that's just how it tasted to me. It does contain peanut oil (why?!!), cocoanut oil, and guar gum, so maybe that's what I am tasting. And the chocolate chips were few and far between. But look, this isn't a premium kind of ice cream, and for the price, well -- let's just say I ate the entire container over the course of four days. If you're feeding kids, a large group, seniors, or really anyone who isn't that critical, this ice cream will do just fine. Note to Tillamook: REMOVE the peanut oil before you get sued by someone with severe allergies.
