TSA Luggage Locks (4Pack) - 3 Digit Combination Padlocks - Approved Travel Lock for Suitcases & Baggage (Black)

Love the colors! We have a luggage set similarly colored and were having a problem trying to find a lock color to match. Silly, but glad we found these! They are small. For some, they may seem like they aren't super secure being small and lightweight. But, the lightweight is great for checked bags, for one. Second, if they were much larger I could see them getting caught on other luggage or tie downs or the conveyor or.. something. Or on clothing while sitting with a carryon or under the seat on the plane. Anyway, the size seems perfect for luggage. There's no extra button to unlock, just put in the code and pull it open. They're perfect for the peace if mind of keeping a bag shut being checked or to detour a wouldbe sneak while you go to the checkin counter and your bag is behind you or sitting at your seat inside the airport or the bathroom or whatever. They are also easy enough for kids to use! My son loved having his own lock like mommy. He didn't have to ask for help using it, so I didn't have to be bugged about getting into his bag for him, etc. He was 4 when we got them, for reference.

Love the color, durable and easy to use. Was able to secure luggage for peace of mind while traveling. I mean off someone stole your luggage it’s not going to help but wasn’t worried about random people getting into my bag is they grabbed the wrong one off the conveyor.

These were a great buy I'd recommend to anyone who's decided luggage locks are an important part of air travel. I made the mistake of traveling without them once and found someone had tampered with the contents of one of my bags. Fortunately, that was it, everything was there. But after that I knew I wanted quality locks for my suitcases. These are approved by the Transportation Security Administration (which means they can open the lock with a special key to search the bag and then re-lock it), so you're cooperating with Homeland Security if you use them. They also are sturdy, they fit in the locking mechanisms on your luggage zippers and they are a pretty reliable security device, removing any temptation from a transitional handler going through your luggage contents from being able to do so. A serious criminal could probably cut through the lock, but they'd probably have to steal the luggage first.

These are great but the way they throw bags around one of ours got damaged on our second trip using them. The number wheel got pushed in somehow and we couldn’t turn it to set the combo to open it. Had to borrow a screwdriver on our trip and wedge it while my wife attempted to turn the wheel. Luckily we got it open. For the price I didn’t worry about throwing it out. Just be aware that they are vulnerable to this happening!!

Was surprised in size and quality. Definition looking forward to my European travel carry on!!

They were a ittle smaller than I thought they would be, but seem very strong and durable. Not at all like others I have bought that feel so flimsy you are afraid to use them. TSA compatable is true as they always open my suitcase (I guess cigars look like dynomite) and have never had to break or cut one. Programming your own code was also very easy. I hope this is helpful

3 of the 4 locks are faulty - most likely these were returned by someone else. The default 0-0-0 code doesn't work. One is completely locked down, second has a few swinging shackle that doesn't lock in and this has a shackle stuck in code change mode. I have an International flight tomorrow, so no time to return and will have to buy additional locks either at the airport or stop at some store on the way there. Waste of time & money - extremely frustrating & disappointing!

The quality is horrible across the board. It is not a fluke. The first time I bought them, only 3 out of 4 locks worked. So I returned them and ordered another set in a completely different color. Guess what, only 3 out of 4 locks worked again. By the time I finished returning and reordering, it was too close to my trip and I didn't have time to do a second return and reorder. So I am now left with only 3 working locks. Completely sucks and waste of money.

Convenient and easy to use

Very practical during travelling

Good quality locks.

These are perfect, work well.
