Looks and feels like quality kit
I have always installed medium range Corsair PSU's in my computer builds up to now. The first one in 2008 which is still performing flawlessly in a computer that is used almost daily. But this high end Seasonic (who supply Corsair and other manufacturers) just feels and looks like better quality. Cannot comment on performance yet as my new build is only a few weeks old.The design means that the fan only ever comes on when under load and the fan has never even come on yet.Lots of cables in the box including what Seasonic call a tester, which is essentially what you need when priming a water loop as you can run the pump without connecting anything else. It is just a blank ATX connector with the green and a black cable pre-connected to let the PSU switch on.Unlike a lot of other PSU's this one comes with a 12 year warranty for extra piece of mind.Sometimes you just get a feeling that something is going to be good as soon as you unpack it, and this PSU certainly looks and feels the part. Here's hoping it lasts as long as my 10 year old Corsair.

This is a very good PSU!
This PSU is dead silent, even playing a game and drawing 300W's of power the fan doesn't spin up in Hybrid mode.I highly recommend it, I have the 850W version.Negatives are that the fan is noisy if it's called for, but in Hybrid mode that shouldn't really be occurring so it's kind of a non-issue. The cables also aren't the best so you'll probably want some good aftermarket cables to go with it (I recently picked up the Cablemod black extensions and they are very nice so far).

*170mm* This excellent PSU is 170mm (the Platinum series are 160mm)
It powered the my stuff. Didn't give any problems. Looks nice. Unfortunately it was a squash in my last case and it may not fit in the next one I want to buy :(

Seems a pretty solid PSU with great warranty
I had owned my Corsair HX850 PSU for around 9 years or so and all was well until my PC started to randomly reboot when under load.Eventually I noticed that the 12v supply varied when under load from 12v to 11.2v, this is greater than the 5% allowance of the ATX spec for the power.I don't often change PSU's and so decided to invest in one that I had read good reviews and offered a pretty long warranty. This Seasonic seemed to provide both of those things. It is expensive, costing more than many of its competitors PSU's in the 750w capacity. My actual needs are around 440w max from the mains and so this 750w supply is more than enough for me.The supplied cables are great and not too thick to route around the rear of my Fractal Design R 5 case. The length is good as well. There is a push button on the back of the PSU to engage hybrid mode, this will keep the fan off until the PSU gets up to around 50% plus load and the temps exceed a certain point. In use this means silence for me.The 12v voltage doesn't vary from the 12.096 and from the review that I read this Seasonic is very good with controlling and voltage ripple.Overall it is a very expensive purchase but I did not wish to skimp on a cheaper PSU and, like I have noted, this one comes with a 12 years warranty as well as Seasonic enjoying a reputation for building pretty excellent PSU's.I hope that this review helped.Recommended
