Lightweight, quick and simple to set up day shelter
I've now had this day shelter for a year and it's been a game changer. After using a brolly with removable pole for years I found it frustrating to set up, messing around with storm poles and trying to get it secure and stable and then still not being adequately sheltered due to open sides. I set this shelter up whatever the weather because it's easy! Spread the shelter on the ground and orientate the door as needed. Assemble the 2 pre fitted elasticated poles that form the back/roof support and locate the ends into the fixings giving the shelter rigidity and shape. Next assemble the long pole the runs from side to side. Insert this into the side sleeve, under the back/roof poles and into the sleeve the opposite side. Push the poles rather than pulling to avoid them coming apart. Insert the ends into the attachment points and the structure supports itself. Finally peg down. After setting up once you'll be able to do this in 5mins. I'm over 6' and there's loads of headroom and room for all my carp gear. It's not designed for bed chairs really, it's a day shelter. The mesh window is great in summer for ventilation and the sides with windows can be rolled back when it's hot so the shelters open fronted. Alternatively they're great in rain and windy weather. I rarely use the door but it's handy for shading you from the sun. I've used the shelter in heavy rain and it was waterproof and very stable. Guy ropes are provided but I haven't needed them. The inclusion of a groundsheet is fantastic considering the great price of the setup. The pegs provided are adequate but I upgraded to more heavy duty ones. I'm really surprised how this shelter has grown on me. It's the first thing I set up now on the bank because I know once it's up all my gear fits inside and it doesn't matter what the weather does. I would buy again without question.

Ok for the cost.
You will need to have a low chair or it will touch the top inside, will keep you dry make sure to roll the door flap up when open or rain will drip inside have a photo on your phone of it erected so you can see pole positions it will save time and aggro, have the door flap open when erecting, the last pole will go in easier buy some sturdy pegs as the ones supplied are not up to the job overall ok for a day shelter.

Waste of money
No instructions, sent to Facebook . Wasn’t on there. Eventuallly found something on Google.Despite instructions gave up after 40 minutes. Only 3 rods to insert but longest one wouldn’t fix into the lugs no matter how much I stretched the material. Guess you only get what you pay for. Bad choice.

Ideal day shelter
Light, practical shelter. Ideal for day session but would hesitate to use for longer overnight sessions - but am sure most would fing it fine. Not tested in rain yet. Plenty of room for two chairs for a social. Pegs and pegging points not the strongest so would question if would stand very strong winds but time will tell. Overall a great shelter, but not a bivvy by any means in my book.

Excellent
Excellent product. In my opinion tho it should be that little tiny bit biggger to fit a bed chair for a overnighter, also the windows on the front need’s a option to blackout. Easy and quick to set up and pack back down just as simple

CordialementEC
