I'll be honest, I bought this mostly based on its looks. The angular design gos well with our decor in the room. But I was happy to see how solid the tools and stand were. Even the tongs are solid. They're often kind of poorly designed but these appear to be up to the task of grabbing heavy chunks of wood. And I was equally pleased with the ease of assembly. No packets of screws to count. The screws are already in the holes! And once assembled, there was no rattling or loose bits. I'm extremely pleased with this set.

This works as expected and has a good weight to it. It took seconds to assemble. I was looking for a set that was more modern with clean lines and this fit the bill.

Very well made, easy to assemble and serves it's purpose.

The packaging was not damaged but the stand had gouges, chips, and scratches. With use, I'm sure scratches and chips would occur over time but I hate that new out of the box it looks like it does. The stand is solid and the tools are nice and heavy. The broom bristles aren't as stiff as I think they should be. We haven't actually used the tools yet but the seem good.

The tools themselves are fine, but the rack they hang in is a horrible design flaw...the tools keep falling off when you put one back in...took a chunk out of my hearth! So I bought some sticky back furniture raisers, I've tried 2 at first for the front of the rack so that the tools would lean back and not come out of their holders..didn't work...put 4 raisers high and now they don't slide out. What a joke!

Functional and attractive but clearly mass produced from inferior materials.

Great set at a reasonable price. Clean lined design and works great!
