AheadPractice Pad (AHSHPCH)

I decided to order this for my son because I wanted him to have something to play on while he waited for his xymox to come in the mail. DO NOT ORDER FROM XYMOX! Just get this pad instead. As of right now, it's been 8 months and no xymox in sight. I had to make charge back dispute with my credit card company and have given up waiting for it at this point. So with that being said, my son loves this pad. Like a xymox it has the beads at the bottom to give it the snare sound. It also has a rim for rim shots as well as carbon fiber head. This pad has improved from their previous versions. This version has a laminate sticker in the middle so that the head doesn't crack when playing with wood tips. You can also order head replacements from this company in case it does get worn out. The biggest tip is that this pad will need to be on a stand for the snare sound to heard. It's the same with the xymox just in case you're comparing the two. The pad also has a really heavy well built feel to it.

I like how it sounds like a snare drum an its a lot cheaper then the xymox pad i my still get the xymox pad one day I know I may have to wait like 6 months or more to get it that’s why I got this instead something to Practice on till I decide on getting the Xymox Pad
