Really good sound deadening material for my Buick. There are several things about this I like that I liked.- It's made in the USA, which shows in the quality.- Speaking of quality, the butyl material has very good adhesion properties. My hood has some indents in it for the heat insulation to fit into and the material stuck and conformed to the indents.- I was able to use scissors to cut to shape. In most situations I had to use a knife on other brands. So easy to cut and install.- The roller I used did an excellent job. The foil was strong enough that the roller didn't rip the foil on top of it. I also had this issue with some other brands.All in all it does a very good job. The sound of the intake and loud injectors all went down significantly. Cruising on the highway also showed it lowered road noise from the front wheels. Even with the amount I used I still have 3 sheets left. Definitely a good buy.

I’ve used various car audio sound deadening mats in the past. This stuff is great. Every bit as good as dynamat or roadkill. It’s thinner which I was originally worried about. But in all reality it just made it easier to apply. No more trunk rattles 😈

Great product work just as well as Dynomat and installs exactly the same. Save the money and buy this instead!

Ordered the product from Canopus (Sound Deadening Mat for Cars, 50 mil 5 sq.ft., Pack of 5 Sheets), and it arrived quickly and without any problems. I finally was able to take the panels off my van to replace the factory speakers, and while I was doing that, my son and I put on this sound deadening product from Canopus. We were both quite impressed with the product; it was easy to cut to the shape we needed, and it was very easy to apply to the inside of the doors, just peel and stick, and then we went over it with a small paint roller for stronger adhesiveness, and it worked wonderfully. We are happy with the product. The doors sound better than they did before (not so hollow), and the newly installed speakers sound great too. I would recommend this product from Canopus.

All I can say is they worked better than I had hoped. I have nothing to compare it to but i did buy more to complete the floor in the SUV

Sink is a Kohler, 18 gauge, and though it has little dampening pads, they are not adequate to provide any significant dampening. Turning on our Moen 1/2 hp garbage disposal, it sounds like an engine. My thought was that the sink was increasing the sound through the vibrations of the sink walls and bottom. Thus my idea to purchase your product. I bought the 10 sqft pack which was the perfect size. It allowed me to triple up on the sink's front and back walls and the bottom. Single layer on the sides. The impact? Fantastic: it significantly dampened the sound by increasing the mass of the sink by not allowing it to amplify the disposal sound. That was why I liked your butyl material versus similar products that were just foam rubber. Easy to cut to fit and easy to install.

I bought this to do my trunk lid and any other portions of the trunk it would cover. I used 4 out of 5 sheets and was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I believe these are thinner than the dynamite I used to use, but work great for my spare tire hidden sub. I'm sure if I had larger subs and more power I'd be singing a different tune.One thing I did notice, they aren't as adhesive as I remember as well. I was able to remove and restick before using the roller. I guess that's a good thing? We'll see how it holds up.After all said and done, and after resecuring my license plate I took a ride and turned the volume up, and the only shaking and rattling I heard clearly was my rear view and radar detector. Not sure how I can address that but I'd say these were a great value for the money when compared to the name brand, especially if you don't need to fight against a ton of bass.

My car has a subwoofer mounted in the rear shelf. I was getting some annoying vibrations from the trunk lid. I used this deadening mat on all surfaces that I could reach on the underside of the trunk lid. Due to structural elements, I could not reach a few areas. It cuts easily with scissors and sticks very well. I had no trouble applying this product. Used a wallpaper seam roller, that I had on hand, to smooth it out and ensure it stuck. So far, it appears that the vibration from the subwoofer is abated, if not completely gone.
