Tyrol / Tyrolean Heavy Duty Flicker Machine Gun - Plasterers Tool

A very well made Tyrolean applicator for the price with the availabilityof spares if needed. I purchased it to re-Tyrolean and tidy around newly fittedPVC windows and doors that had been patched in with cement, not too heavyto work with when it`s filled and gives all round excellent results.

My Father bought this style flicker machine in the 60s it was metal and lasted for years, I extremely pleased with the gun and the heavy duty plastic body which makes it light and easy to clean.it was easy to assemble and fantastic value also light to hold.Spares are available it would just be the metal needles, its very important to clean toughly after use to extend the life of the machine.

Did as expected but was heavy when full. It arrived requiring construction and though it was obvious how to , very difficult to do so. In order to get the handle though the machine and then through the clickers great force had to be applied and I was apprehensive about how much force to use for fear of causing damage, eventually however the spindle passed through the relevant sockets. The clickers were packed so tight inside the machine that again force had to be used to turn them around so that the spindle could pass through. Clickers were steel prongs which did not want to be bent so again force had to be used and nicks to fingers sustained. Other than that of the construction the machine when mastered, did its job very well. Obviously strong and robust but clearer instruction required.

Seems sturdy and did the job.

Nice bit of kit at a good price. Nicely made and it will last a long time compared to the steel ones.

Worked well but broke shortly after use. If this was made stronger it would have got a 5. Gave it a 3 as product originally worked as it should and the company were amazing in customer service too
