Nice shirt, not a serious work shirt
You get what you pay for! I work in the timber industry (in the woods!) where two other, more expensive brands seem to reign supreme. I thought I would try and save a few bucks and give Wrangler a try. First off, this is a very nice shirt, it seems well made and I liked what seemed to be an extra inch or two in the tails. But it is NOT a heavy duty "work shirt" for serious outdoor activities. It's simply too light... maybe 6.5 or 7.0 oz? Too bad they don't actually say. I'm used to 8.0 oz "canvas" work shirts... Two of mine are going on four years old now. When I first got them they were so think and stiff, they could almost stand upright by themselves! A few washes and hundreds of hours of real, outdoor work later, and they are soft and most importantly, DURABLE.These Wrangler shirts might be fine for yard work, camping, hiking, or summer time in nearly any environment. But if you are looking for a truly heavy duty, four season shirt, plan on spending a little more and look elsewhere.

Perfect work shirt for man chores
I purchased this shirt due to a previous comment mentioning he was a lumberjack who would wander through blackberry brambles without a scratch in this shirt. I pick gallons of black raspberries each summer and this year, I didn't get a scratch (a side bonus is mosquitos don't get through either). This is one tough shirt! It's obviously not light weight, but I don't feel it was ever hotter than what any other long sleeve shirt would be. As the weather is cooling off now, it's practically my weekend uniform. The fit is good (not too tight or loose) and the button pockets have been quite useful as well. I haven't even noticed any snags or loose buttons and it has gotten plenty of use for the last few months. If you want a tough work shirt (that looks pretty nice as well), this is the shirt. I'm hooked.

I had bought one of these before and been very satisfied however they come with several stickers on the shirt (size label, features label, and pocket label for loop). These labels are either old or have an adhesive not meant to be used with the shirts because they leave residue after being peeled off. The residue washed out of first shirt but not 2nd. It's hard to see in the photo but visible centered over the pocket. Unfortunately it's way more noticeable in person than on the photo and the brand new shirt has a permanent stain where the adhesive won't come off. I'm sending this one back with the hope that future ones don't have the same problem because it's a great shirt other than the sticker issue.

A bit tight at sleeves and neck....
I've worn the Riggs workwear slacks and really liked them so I figured I would try the shirt. The fabric and overall quality seem good (can't speak to durability yet). The body size is generally as expected (Tall XL) compared to shirts I've bought from other companies. My only gripe is that the sleeves (at the wrists) are somewhat snug, with no room to move the buttons to create a looser fit; and the neck is snug as well (can't really button top button). This was a borderline return decision, but I decided to keep it with the hope that the sleeves loosen up a bit as the fabric softens (and I never button the top button anyway). As a reference, my neck is 17 1/2, and my wrists are no larger than average (perhaps even a bit smaller than the typical XL buyer).

Pretty good product, does fade though...
This is actually a pretty decent work shirt. Feels firm; rugged, and a bit stiff, although it IS a work shirt. It holds pencils nicely without falling out when you bend over. Also fits tight, but the length is as expected (especially being the "TALL" size). Couple little down-falls... it fades pretty quickly and the ends of the shirt fabric "wears" (fabric pills) a little bit. Also I feel the need to unbutton the (2) Top Buttons to feel the comfort in movement, although that's just me.I would recommend, and would probably purchase another as long as it was within the low $30 range. But definitely NOT in the $40 Plus range. Been using this for the last couple months, will update if something negatively changes.

Great shirt for the woods.
I work in the timber industry and these are my go to shirts for all seasons. Since Wrangler is one of the few big name companies that doesn't produce a Med Tall I'm forced to buy a large and wash and dry in an electric dryer several times until the shirts shrink to fit. A pain in the butt, however they are great work shirts and since I have 8 or 9 at all times it works out. This last batch seems to have slightly longer sleeves so I bought one Medium and eliminated the electric dryer to see how it works. You cannot go wrong on these shirts, too bad Wrangler doesn't want to compete size wise, they would sell a lot more of them.

Brilliant
This is the third Riggs workshirt that I have owned and they are superb shirts. Comfortably roomy for ease of movement, tough as hell and they get better as they age, which is more than can be said for me! Thanks Wrangler

riggs shirt
A bit heavier than I expected, but that's fine. Your regular size will be a nice fit. Great for winter evenings down the pub!

Feels like wrangler quality
Nice heavy shirt that doesn't shrink in the wash. Can often struggle to find shirts to fit me in the arm properly as I have long arms. But this shirt fits nicely.
