This retractable belt barrier is really great quality and it looks fantastic. It is well made and the craftsmanship is really nice. I got to use at my restaurant and it's awesome!

The weak plastic cylindrical end clip (attached to the end of the red ribbon) started to slowly crack & fall apart over just a few weeks. It is now in pieces and is now basically useless. Everything else about it seemed nice, but the one weak plastic link rendered the entire unit unusable. If they made that one part more durable, it would probably make the whole thing 10X better.

This item came in with the strap hooks installed upside down. Notice in the pictures it was an easy fix by removing the cap and with a small set of needle nose pliers, I worked the looped end out the hole. I then pulled the pin so I could remove the strap, flip it over and reinserted. Using the pliers again, I pulled the strap out the hole and replaced the pin in the loop and worked it back in. Took about five minutes. The trick was using vise grips to free up both hands by holding the strap out. These are made with very thin metal and clips are plastic. I don't believe they will take any abuse at all. The pro is that they are priced very good so if they wont be abused or you just want to try a set to see if this is what you want before you buy a heavy duty expensive set, then this it your item.
