You NEED this!
Great steel honeycomb! Magnets are a plus! To be honest, I do mostly "small stuff". Coasters, earrings, etc so I really don't need a larger honeycomb. This one is "just right" for my use. Magnets come in handy for holding pieces in place. I also use a large flat magnet which used to be an ad for a business stuck on a car door so approx 2x3 feet which I cut up as templates, holding 4x4 pieces in place (read coasters). Great if you want to do "both sides" of your piece. Magnets that came with the honeycomb don't hold the piece down very well and get in the way of the laser, so you'd do better to put them on the sides. Works well. Worth the money. Get it!

Got to have one of these if you own a laser engraver-this one was a good deal for the money and is working perfectly.

Lack of clear instructions
The honeycomb came complete with accessories but no clear indication of assembly. I know you’re now thinking what’s so difficult?There are 10 edge buffers and logically they must raise the honeycomb above the aluminium desk protector. So that’s 4 on the bottom corners.I’ve done some Googling and seen installations where the shipping corner protectors have been left on. In some instances I’ve seen the corner protectors installed on the top corners as well.Some form of guidance in the box as to the original intentions would have been comforting.The honeycomb frame only has inches scale shown. It would have been a more universal product if the metric scale had been included.Overall I’m happy with the product.

A definite “must have”.
It immediately made my cuts much cleaner. It also helps in consistently placing items at the origin. However, the bumper pads did need some explanation.
