good for enclosed areas
This is a good elastic as long as it is enclosed in fabric, but it is not soft and it isn't suitable for next-to-skin use. It also isn't anti-roll, so you'll want to sew it down so it can't twist if using it in a waistband etc. That being said, it has good elasticity and is good elastic as long as it isn't touching your skin.

This is great elastic
Not too stiff, not too wimpy. I requested the 2 inch wide, and I was very happy when I opened it. I like to make plus sized pjs and lounge pants, and its hard to find comfortable elastic. This elastic will definitely be comfortable and work the way I need it to.
