Mixed feelings
Although the sound quality of this is very, very good and the wireless sub woofer is a nice touch and the Bluetooth works well, I wouldn't describe it as 'room filling'. OK I have a large room but at max volume, I still feel as if I am missing a true cinema experience. The spatial aspect also doesn't really give much. My real gripe was that after hardly any use, I had to pay £20 for a new remote as the small shiny one supplied had packed up and it was out of guarantee. It was pretty useless anyway as other reviewers have pointed out. Make sure you get the slightly curved, matt black remote when you buy one. It did however save me a lot of grief from my wife about the 6 speakers and massive amplifier I had on the original sound system. Update after quite a lot of use: Modern films have a lot of crash, bang, wallop and, so as not to annoy my wife (as much as normal) I am continually adjusting the volume and tone controls. At any one time, the background music is loud but speech unintelligible, after adjustment, I can hear the speech but the music is poor.

Excellent product if you can get money off @ Ideal Home Show
Bought this at the Ideal Home Show 2014 where they were giving £50 off the £399.99 rrp. Having had a demo at the previous years show I couldn't resist purchasing it esp as I had moved into a new place with a bigger living room.Overall I'd say the sound is extremely good with deep, room filling bass and clear high end. Cannot complain about the sound when connected via bluetooth to any device (use it quite a bit with my smartphone streaming music). And when connected to the TV the sound is also very good. However, my only comment is when I'm watching films. Yes the sound is a lot richer and broader with the bass but the sound levels can sometimes be a bit off with the bass being too loud and vocals not being totally clear. I don't think this is the fault if the sound bar but might be an idea to put the sound source from the TV through an equaliser. For me it's only a minor point. The sound bar and sub woofer are extremely well built and don't feel cheap. But for some reason they spent no money on developing the remote. It comes with a very cheap, plastic remote with no conviction when pressing the buttons. I believe they have better remotes now.If you can pick the sound bar up for £300 or less I'd say you are getting a great product for the money.

Great Sound
Redecorated our lounge & didn't want the all round system we had with all the wires. Decided on the wireless ORB soundbar. It gives out a great sound from the television & also music from my phone. The sound from the soundbar more than compensates for the surround system we had.Excellent bit of kit & reasonably priced, which is a bonus.

A Disappointment
Disappointing. Sound quality not as good as it should be with little ability to fine tune. Further, the sound balance varies according to input (e.g., TV or DVD). Remote control response is weak (anything over 3m away and it needs help), frustrating and laggy (a pet hate for very simple tech like this). Frequent issues with it not picking up optical input from TV.

Not impressed - read before you buy - you need to listen to the quality before purchase
I had to leave a review because I am puzzled how I cannot agree with all of the excellent reviews on this site regarding the Orbitsound M12 soundbar. I am slightly disappointed in the product and so want to make people intending to purchase this unit consider their purchase a bit more carefully.I got the Orbitsound M12 soundbar to improve the audio output on a television purchased for around £399.The quality of sound coming from the Television is better than the sound from the Orbitsound M12 soundbar by a noticable degree. The television, whilst flatter, is also clearer. The sound from the Orbitsound M12 soundbar is richer but less clear with a slight bit of distortion. Also the subwoofer has a hum coming from it that makes it a little bit irritating. I'll fit a ferrite and see if the hum dissipates.I will probably remove the Orbitsound M12 soundbar and continue to use the Television. One good thing though, and perhaps this is puzzling, the sound from the Orbitsound M12 soundbar is not better than the television from the television but if I play music using bluetooth from my Blackberry 9900 or from the dvd player then that is better quality. Although, not as much as I expected given the cost of this unit. Therefore, I am giving this unit a mid-range score since I will not be using the Orbitsound M12 soundbar for the function for which I purchased it, ie using it with the television. Since 2.5 stars is not possible, I'll round it up to three stars.Overall, I am not impressed - read before you buy - you need to listen to the quality before purchase

Sound Investment
Excellent sound quality from compact understated equipment. Setup was a 'piece-of-cake'. This equipment has transformed my television viewing and, strangely, I have reduced the overall volume as the speech is so much clearer than from the TV speakers. Highly recommended
