I purchased these for my 5yr old granddaughter, but , when it arrived I decided to keep for myself. ( selfish Nanna). The paints are beautiful and compact, with a small brush. Ideal to take out or just use at home. Would give these paints more than 10 out of 10 if I could. This little paint box has reignited my interest in water colour painting.. here I go again..haha.... ps. Of course I will let my granddaughter use them, but we will paint together.. absolutely value for the price..

This was bought as a gift for a ten year old, trying out water colours for the first time. He loved the large range of colours, which are really vibrant and easy to use.He likes that you can use the box itself as a mixing palette or to hold a layer of the paints.

Wonderful, you get 2 trays of 12 paints. They are basically 2x the same colours but different shades, great for ‘real’ artists, and great for 5 year olds that don’t know the difference. Gives you 2 full paint trays in one box. Brush is good too. Bought 3 if these now for my 2 little ones as they are excellent

Obviously I have used these paints for water colouring but the quality is not quite what I expected and I shall probably use Windsor & Newton or Rowney paints in future. However, they are less expensive and therefore value for money.

These are fabulous for four year olds, now have a budding artist grandson. Colours are good - the ‘white’ in a tube is a bit of a temptation for little fingers but it dries on the lid/pallet and can be used later!
