I bought this battery in the winter of 2023 expecting to be able to use this in the spring 2024 for the shrub trimming that we would need to do. I purchased a SKIL battery powered trimmer and it only came with a 2Ah battery. We needed a longer time to get all the shrubs done. I know I should have tried this battery right away but the time came in the last week to use this battery and it would not work with the tool. The trimmer starts to work and then the lights on the battery start blinking and then the trimmer stops working. It will start back up again if you release and pull the trigger but it does the same thing and will only run for about 5 seconds. I can't return the battery but I would not recommend buying a generic replacement battery for any battery powered tool. I wish it would work but it doesn't and I have concerns that the board in the tool and the board in the battery are not compatible so will not work.Patrick M

Although I haven’t had it very long I have used it vigorously and am very impressed
