Well built. Would have been nice to know if the lighted switch had any options (always on, only on w power), like some of the other similar products. Otherwise nice. Would buy again if needed.

The only thing you need to be aware of when buying this is if you need it for 120 volts or 12 volts, I did not see that when I got the first on and could not figure out why the switch indicator light was not lighting up until i pulled the switch back open and found that I bought the 120 volt for my truck and not the 12 volt, now i got both and the 12 volt lights up on my truck.

Use this to isolate power in our conversion van. This is helping to isolate the battery from draining until we find tye source of the drain.Could use more space in the box to allow for easier wiring.

I used this switch to power on a fountain, from a power box. The lit feature makes it easy to find in the dark. Being waterproof, it's surface mounted and solid. It mounted easily to the plastic powerbox.

The auto-shutoff on my air compressor failed a while ago. So I was plugging in and unplugging the compressor as needed. That worked until an arc of electricity in the plug created a scary light show and "welded" the contacts. I now have added this switch to the cord from the compressor. I appreciate the smooth and solid switch action each time I toggle the switch.The pigtails included with this switch use quality material and appear well made. But they are only two-wire. There may be another model that includes the ground - I didn't think to look. But I was able to easily use this switch by using my own cord and passing the ground wire through the body of the switch. I was just sorry that I couldn't use the included pigtails.

For outdoor pond pump. Did not use pigtails cause needed ground wire. Cut AWG 16 outdoor cord and routed ground inside switch around terminals - plenty of room for this, probably for a heavier cord if you needed. Switch is direction sensitive - the current needs to enter on the correct side or on/off light will stay on in both positions - trial and error to get this right.

The housing and switch look like they should hold up and be highly water resistant. Really like that depending on how you wire it the light on the switch can be always-on or on-while-powered. Disappointed with the mounting tabs. I mounted the switch to a plastic battery box (not tightening screws down hard) and I still managed to break both tabs. Time for some double-sided tape I guess. I would have given it a 5 if it had robust mounting tabs.
