WOLF Garten Anvil Loppers RS 650 Power Failure

I was in the market for what I want to be my last pair of garden loppers.I needed them to be robust,well made, and well designed.I began by searching reviews to narrow the field. I didn’t want telescopic handles and I prefer the anvil type.The Wolfgarten RS 650 kept cropping up in many reviews,so I popped out to a local garden centre to handle a pair and have a closer look.I was impressed by all aspects (except price),but only buying a set would confirm my impressions.So,to Amazon to see what was what.Wow,very competitive pricing,sadly not available on Prime,but a 5 Star UK company was offering 4 days delivery,so I pulled the trigger.As promised they arrived on time,very well packaged and looking great.Next day I was in the garden looking to prune a number of shrubs & remove some dead branches from an old Cherry tree.To say I was impressed would be under selling these loppers.Effortless on anything up to 30/35 mm,making me feel confident they could tackle a little more should I need them to.Lovely,slim head for better access in those multi stemmed shrubs.Comfortable soft feel handle grips.Not too heavy or long to become tiring or unwieldy.To sum up,these loppers are everything I hoped for and give me confidence that they probably will be my last ever pair.

Brilliant to use

Had these a couple months now. Nice and sharp. Do the job. They seem robust enough, I've broken the last couple loppers I had (not this make).. So overall very good so far

I really love these loppers. Bought to replace my previous ones, getting on for 40 years old. Even on full extension they feel light and easy to use. I had previousy thought the telescopic function a bit of a gimic with other garden tools, either difficult to adjust or a loose fit when fully extended. Not the case here; really easy to adjust and when locked in place the handles feel like they are each made from a single piece. Extension is great for overhead work, and also for ground level without bending down. Used today for thinning out an overgrown reose bush. I couldn't have done it without them. Highly recommended.

Great tool. Like my other Wolfgarten tools this works perfectly, and I expect it to do so for decades.

Quality build, light weight and extremely good at cutting branches up to about 3/4 inch. Handle length is about right so as to get maximum torque on cutting. Overall, good price for a quality item, very glad i chose this item.
