HQ ISSUETalos 8” Men’s Side Zip Waterproof Tactical Boots, Military Combat Hiking Shoes

I bought these for my husband a d a gift. He often works outside in all types of weather. He recently wore through a 15 hour work day in snow and freezing rain. He cannot stop talking about how great these boots are.

I really like this boot but only gave it 4 stars because the first day that I wore them on a rainy wet day in the turkey woods they leaked. Just a little bit but still... I dried them for 2 days and then added 2 coats of a name brand silicone waterproofer. After that they were EXCELLENT!If they had not leaked the first day I would easily give 5 stars. They have excellent ankle support over broken ground. Now that they are fuuly water proof I love them!

These are the only boots my Husband will buy and wear. He works on a farm, so he walks a lot in the mud, water, hard ground, sand. You name it!! He also loves to go hunting in them says that they have all the support he needs, and would recommend them to anyone. The zipper on the side is easy to use, he has never had a problem with it busting. He wears them every day, so at least once a year I have to reorder.

So far the boots are made well. My son loves them I bought them for his JROTC uniform but he has wore them every day. He says that they are extremely comfortable he does not want to take them off. He says they are easier to run in then his tennis shoes because they support his ankles.

Stiff and uncomfortable, there's a definite break-in period. I purchased the sage green version (Active Duty USAF) and it is way too dark green. Don't buy this thinking you can wear it in ABUs.

These boots fit great and are well-made. I love the side zippers which make it easy to put on and take off. They are so comfortable, I don't think about my feet all day long.

Really liked this boot except for a seam against my ankle that wasn't padded enough. Maybe just the way it fit me, but I had to return them .

seem really stiff, zipper is pretty much a waste, but overall not bad
