ConklinDuragraph Special Edition Fountain Pen Voyager - Broad Nib, Unique Writing Instrument with Birchwood Barrel

Love the look and feel of the leather wrap. The stitching lines up when seating the cap. The omniflex nib is wonderful. I'm pairing it with a shimmer and sheen ink from Diamine Inkvent called Winter spice. The brown base and blue sheen will complete this pen.

Not the finest quality leather but did have a leather smell. Really hard to get the cap back on to line up the stitching but the pen works great.

Pen writes well, but feels lightweight and cheap. I accidentally knocked it off my desk onto a hardwood floor and the cap broke where it threads and screws onto the pen body. It’s not an “expensive” pen, but I expected a little bit more at this price point compared to other pens I own.

Say and resat the ink cartridge 4 times. Took over 40 minutes just to get any inflow. I have 23 fountain pens and every pen cheaper than this pen works better. The quality control on this pen sucks. The leather stitching when the threads are completely closed are misalign by1/4 turn. Why even have these stitch marks if they're not going to line up, just omit them from the design. If the pen wrote well like all my other pens out of the box that would be a pet peeve and no big deal. I'd live with it, but it's just one more notch in the quality control problem. Avoid this pen. And while this is my first pen from this brand or company, if this is any indication, I won't be buying any other pens. Luckily I was able to return from Amazon with no problem. So five stars to Amazon one star to the pen manufacturer.
