KEENTECH 1/2" (Dia.) Top Bearing Flush Trim Bit, Pattern Bit 1-1/2" (Cutting Depth), 1/4" Shank (KT011312112)

I had to order two of these since we bent the first one due to our inexperience. These cut a super hard wood very smoothly and stayed sharp throughout our project. We had to get an adjustable speed control for our older router since the rpms were too high for the size of the bit and we bent the shaft of the bit after banging it into some non routable material. Our fault, not the bit’s fault. It had been difficult to find the length of bit we needed for a 1/4 size collet so we tried this one and it worked perfectly when we got the speed right. Highly recommend this bit!

The 1/2” x 1 1/2” Keentech flush trim is packaged for retail point of sale. It can either sit on a shelf or hang from a peg.The case is nice, but it is a little awkward to depress the tabs that release the clear glass part of the case.The size of the bit is laser etched on the shank of the bit, which is nice.The bit looks precisely crafted when examined with my jewler’s loop.Note to the Reader: My reviews are written strictly from the perspective of helping potential customers make an informed decision as to whether they should invest their finite money and time in this product. Worked good for forming rounded corners and sink opening in acacia butcher block countertop.

Very nice router bit and priced right.

This worked fine for one short project. For the price I don't expect it to do a lot but I don't do a lot of routing enough to keep a couple of bits on hand.
