Good Night India (Good Night Our World)

My family and I have been living in India for over two years so I picked this up as soon as it came out. It's a great primer, introducing India from Jammu and Kashmir to Kerela stopping at sites along the way.The illustrations are cute and the text has a nice repetitive quality good for lulling little ones to sleep.If you're interested in India or, even better, bound for here I recommend it.

I bought this book as a night time reading for my 2 1/2 yrs old grandson in NY. He loves this book and asks his Daddy and Mommy to read it every night. Worth money spent.

A good book that highlights major indian attractions. I read it often with my son. It doesn't rhyme like goodnight moon, its a simple read but is still a good book on its own with great illustrations.

What a great introduction to important sites of India. My preschoolers loved the book and wanted to learn more about India.

My friends recently had twin girls so we got them two books - Good Night Chicago (where we live) and this one (where their dad is from). It was a huge hit because now they can read about the countries of both of their parents. This book is really beautiful too - just like the rest of the series.

Beautiful illustrations of different places in India with short text. It's a perfect introduction to India for my toddler. I love the fact that most regions in India are included.
