Suddenly my screen porch is year-round. This works great. The included bracket attached easily and securely to my Mr. Buddy. It directs the heat toward me rather than rising to the ceiling. I can now sit on my screen porch with temps in the teens.

I have a 90% efficient propane heater. When I just set it on top of the stove it did not work. I used the included metal hook and hung it in front of the stove and it works perfectly. I like the included stove temperature gage as well. It is nice to know exactly what temperature the stove is.

The fan appears sturdy and well made. It doesn't move a lot of air but it gets the job done. By circulating the heat with this fan you can cycle the heat source on and off to save money if you are using a portable or homemade heater.

Operated the fan on my Big Buddy propane heater for a test. Interesting technology how the thing works. No noise at all. The problem is, the fan isn't powerful enough to overcome the vertical heat rising from the heater. There is no movement horizontally from the fan, all the heat is rising vertically as if the fan was not there. The RPM simply isn't enough to move any air with the included thermostat reading 550 degrees F. I would be amazed if any of this type fan creates horizontal air movement.

This is the second one of these I have purchased. This one is MUCH BETTER than the first one. 6 blades rather than 4 and better heat exchangers make the few extra bucks more than worth it! Buy the good one and this is it! Moves way more hot air than the 4 blade unit.

This fan works great and is well built. It is still working after dropping a few times so I know it is good for long term. It really puts the heat out where you need it.

This fan was recommended for my Mr Buddy portable heater. The bracket that comes with the fan to attach to the grill of my Mr Buddy heater did not work as illustrated…….. I had to modify the install. Once I re-engineered the install, the fan worked as expected! The bracket may be better for the bigger Mr Buddy heater, I don’t know….. but this one was recommended for the Mr Buddy portable heater I bought (among other brand heaters). It works, but you’ll need some imagination to install it!
