Surprised on how well it works despite bad reviews
The media could not be loaded. It works as expected for me. You do need to make sure it's floor plan is clear of cables and small things like spoons which it will attempt to gobble up.Worth the price because it cleans while you are at work. Something nice about a clean kitchen floor and living room carpet when you get home especially with a toddler roaming and destroying.Pros-------- the app is great gives you alot of info and manual control, never needed manual control so far.- programming with Alexa is great, "tell dobby to get cleaning" off he goes.- battery life is good, uses about 28% for our whole downstairs.- suction power is sufficient for carpet and door mats, I have it on full power for every room.- build quality is good, plastic bumper does come into contact with a few walls and edges of fireplace etc still in good condition.- can programme multiple floors, so when moving the base and unit upstairs, put it in its recognised starting position and choose upstairs and off it goes. If you do move furniture in a room it's worth sending it on a scanning run to remap the rooms.- the return to base station cleaning and hair cutting works well, (very loud though, warning for young kids and animals they won't enjoy it)Cons------- it will grab wires, charging cables and other items very easily and get stuck. That's obviously down to the person making sure all man made items are picked up ahead of time and wires tucked away. It will however notify you on the app if its stuck.- if you unplug it from the wall on the base it loses charge over a day. Basically meaning you need to leave it plugged in. Not the end of the world, I just forgot about plugging it back in and had to wait a few hours before it had enough charge.Overall it's been worth getting. Just know you will need to clean the rollers once every 2 weeks. But that depends on how much hair it's eating from the carpet. Cleaning is easy and doesn't need instructions. When the bag gets full in the base station, just shake it empty in your main bin. No point buying replacement bags.

Very impressed!
I've had this robot vacuum for almost 2 months and I can honestly say I'm really impressed. It just works and does what you want it too.Set up was easy and the first time you set it to go, it maps out your home, which again was really impressive considering this model is considerably cheaper than some other brands. You can set a schedule for cleaning or send it out to clean at anytime using the app. Once done, it heads back home to it's docking station to charge. The app is easy to use with lots of settings to adjust to your liking. I live in a bungalow, so have set it to clean all rooms Monday to Friday whilst in work. The only rooms it can't do are the bathroom and conservatory (we always keep the bathroom door closed and the conservatory has a step leading up to it). We have a Dyson which we tend to only use on the weekend now.The cleaning capability is really good. We have two cats which to be fair, don't moult a huge amount, but with most animals there is a certain amount of hair they leave behind. It manages to collect hair, dust and any cat litter that has been tracked around very well. It's only got stuck once and that was my fault. I was rushing for work and left my phone charger cable on the floor. I received a message on my phone to say the robot was stuck and needed help. When I got home, I detangled it and sent it on its way again. It's actually made us keep clutter off the floor now which is an added bonus. It's easy to empty and keep clean too. This robot vacuum has been a great investment and although it's not been enough to warrant getting rid of the Dyson, it has helped reduce the amount of cleaning in the week and does a damn good job of maintaining a clean floor.

Lots of thought gone into product, would recommend
OK, so we'll get the bad bits out of the way first:1. It's a Tuya based device, so don't expect it to integrate into anything other than its own app without a load of faff. I've gone through the requisite faff and managed to get it working the way I want, which is the only reason it didn't get returned. Eufy is an Anker brand and I would have expected such a well established and reviewed manufacturer to have built their own protocol/API, instead of using Tuya as a crutch.2. It will try to procreate with the cat scratching post any every given opportunity. The base is just the right height for the vac to think it can get up the ledge, but it is stopped by the post in the middle. Repeated several times, it makes for a laughable display. I have also seen it ram the post either out of spite, frustration or both.3. Manual controls in the app are a joke, but they're not really needed anyway. That's it for the bad, everything else is fantastic:1. The main cleaning brush is a mix of bristles and soft rubber. The bristles work to agitate dust off the floor and the rubber parts do an excellent job of pulling hair out of carpeted areas. The side brush does an acceptable job of flicking dust from the skirting so you're not left with dirty edges.2. Our home is a mix of laminate, tile, carpet and rugs. The machine can deal with them all, even a particularly thick piled rug that I was initially afraid it would jam on. Configured correctly, it will adjust the suction power depending on the surface (extra power for thicker surfaces) - so it isn't needlessly loud where it doesn't need to be.3. The cleaning tool is brilliant. it has a small embedded blade much like a boxcutter. It can be slipped into two grooves on either end of the main brush to deal with the hair that gets wrapped around there. The plastic comb part works well to lift chunkier debris from the main section of the brush.4. General intelligence is good. I trust it not to attempt suicide down a staircase, it backs up sharpish when it detects a ledge. Mapping is generally accurate. It will fail to clean certain areas only very occasionally which I can forgive it for due to the layout of our rooms. Effort goes into trying to avoid its charging dock, though there are sometimes little accidents that do it no harm. Just a bit of noise. It will usually 'see' the dock when it get's too close, stop, and then go around it in an arc.5. Unless started on a different floor to the charger, it will always eventually find its way home. While this will never replace a proper vacuum, it does wonders for maintaining the floors between bigger cleaning sessions. The amount of pet hair it has picked up is staggering. Plus it is a nice little show-piece and the cats enjoy stalking it as it does its thing. All in all, good buy.
