My daughter really loved watching Lilo & Stitch and it was great until she started copying behaviors she saw. One of them being slamming the door. Well after a week of slamming and stressing out about her slamming the door on her little sisters fingers I decided to do something about it! I bought this and installed it, super easy installation by the way, and it immediately corrected the behavior. She was confused at first because the slamming noise didn’t follow after she would “slam” the door. I’m assuming the lack of satisfaction and noise took away the excitement, either way, she stopped doing it and we can finally enjoy our days without the sound of doors slamming against the door frame.

It works, but the hand design is not efficient. Most of the real estate is not used when the door is closed (such as the little fingers). It’s fun to look at but probably could be smaller and more sleek looking yet still functional. The hand design makes the house look a little silly.

I have horrible anxiety and get very hung up on worrying about my kids slamming their fingers in a door. Aside from teaching them not to slam doors, these have given me peace of mind. So easy to install. The picture didn’t look like they would be wide enough to protect little hands but they leave a perfect gap between the door and frame. Very happy with this purchase.

Perfect! I love it. The kiddo loves openin and closing doors in the house and this keeps her fingers safe. What more can you ask for? Love that it’s retractable.

These happy hands are really cute & they keep my 2 year old daughter from slamming her fingers in the door. I really like that they stick on the door & you don’t have to keep taking it off of the doors. All you have to do is rotate the hand. I looked at several others & I always read reviews before I buy anything. I am happy with this purchase.

This is a fantastic product. I have a 2.5 yr old that loves to slam doors and a 12 month old that doesn't need squished fingers. We tried the cheap foam things first but they eventually get bent and therefore cannot serve their purpose for long.I love that you can also put this back up so that you can close the door at night.This product has been slammed over and over and hasn't budged.

I purchased this for an industrial door in the back of my store to hold the door open while taking garbage out bc there are no handles on the outside for re-entry. When they arrived I was worried they wouldn’t be strong enough but they are perfect and far less hideous than the bent pipe we were originally gifted

This item was recommended by a friend after hearing I was worried about grandchildren trapping their fingers in door when it was windy. Product fits at top of porch door and blends in with the UPVC frame. Easy to fit and rotates to make an effective stop when door has been opened. Two stoppers in pack and the other will be used on patio door into garden to ensure the children are safe at both front and rear of house. Recommend this product for peace of mind when grandchildren come to visit.

This is my second purchase now as they are so good I decided to attach to some other doors. Easy installation. I like that you can twist them around so that the door can be fully closed when required. They are also pretty thick in depth so would stop the door well before hitting your little ones fingers. (Note these won't stop fingers getting trapped at the hinge side of the door)

I've had these up for a few weeks now and they are excellent. I'm a childminder so my doors are constantly in use. It just takes a quick swipe for me to put them on and kids can't remove them and they fit all door widths unlike traditional door jammers. White blends in with door colour. Was very easy to install. Will definitely buy again.

I have had a pair of happy hands before. These were large enough to go on the inside of the PVC garden door to prevent the kids opening the door to the garden however. The one i have bought this time round are much much smaller and dont feel as well made as the ones i bought before. As these were much smaller i couldnt use them because of swivel bracket mount being smaller which i could mount to the door. Please note to anyone reading this reveiw, i didnt use these to prevent the door closing but from opening ( not pictured in the items listing )
