Purchased on recommendation of my orthopedist. Very satisfied so far. Excellent, comfortable, stabilizing support.

This brace is perfect. My wife had an ACL replacement several years ago and stays active chasing grandkids and doing yard work. Once in a while her knee gets tender so she braces it. She is hard in them! Kneeling in the dirt and on carpet. They wear out. We tried cheaper options and always regret it. Save yourself the trouble and get what works. This is a great brace. It’s comfortable, it lasts and most importantly, it works.

Over time, it would slip down a bit but it is easy to adjust.

This is my second one ordered. The first one lasted 5-6 years. Very good stability for side to side, and prevent buckling.

Realistically this is a decent product for a One size fits "all", off the shelf sort of thing. The product literature, depending on where you look says up to 22" thigh, but would be a functional fit up to a 19 or 20" thigh. Devoted runners or serious fitness junkies would probably opt for a real, properly fit, prescription brace if they needed a hinged knee brace. Most people do not likely need a hinged brace. Does the job in a pinch. and decent stability compared to a non-hinged brace. There is also no material behind the knee to bunch up in this design.

I have tired, old, damaged knees. A pair of these keeps me running, an activity I love. Since purchasing these braces the rate of deterioration of my knees has slowed and walking up and down stairs after my morning run is far more comfortable. Wearing the braces does not interfere with my running "performance" they are very comfortable. The one caution I have is that it is possible to apply them too tightly and reduce circulation to the lower leg. The problem is easily rectified by a brief stop and readjustment. In order to make donning the braces easier, I've applied white tape caps over the ends of the velcro straps. That keeps them from sticking when the ends are inserted into the loops and makes them visible when removing the braces. I've washed them several times in "Woolite" and so far no deterioration. This is a very reasonably priced knee brace which gives very good support for knees that are showing signs of wear.

Years ago when I ordered this brace it was great! Not now. The two braces were different sizes and no two measurements anywhere were the same. I hadn't returned it and today pulled it out of storage and re-cut and sewed the connecting areas. In comparing it to the old and worn out one, I found the size was all together different and no two cut pieces were not alike due to sloppy pattern cutting in manufacture. I cannot recommend this product. The first one fit, this one, the second and the third did not, nor were they the same. Perhaps ACE has new owners. Hopefully they will improve their braces. The first pair fit, the second pair did not and were much larger along with irregular in size and even shape.
