Why did you pick this product vs others?:Great product. It help me clear the tube connecting my dryer to outside vent that was full of over 20 years of lint! Very effective! I suggest first pushing the rod from the tube entrance to its end without the brush. Then, add the brush once you have push all the way to the end. You can then connect the power drill and pull the brush through. You will be amazed at how much lint comes out.

This product did the job in cleaning out a very, very clogged dryer chute. But the task was ultimately too much for the critter and several of the shafts broke off under the torque. I still have enough lengths leftover to do shorter cleaning runs so all is not lost and frankly I'll probably not do another full vent cleanout for a couple years so who cares. It worked, Did the job, Died nobly in pursuit of its mission.

I kept asking my husband to clean the dryer vent, but he made excuses and put it off. We lost our fire insurance, and I worried about a dryer vent fire, so I bought this and boy-howdy, it worked really well. The gloves helped me have the strength to twist the rod. I put all the dryer fluff in a bucket for him to see. It was a LOT! That was a very satisfying bucket of fluff. I'm going to let my neighbors know I have it in case they want to borrow it.Value for money:I haven't much money, and our vent isn't that long. This was the shortest one (15 feet), and perfect.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I thought the connections were more secure than the ones that screwed together. It was very easy to assemble. It did a great job getting the lint out of the dryer vent.

Works as expected. Great price for an easy solution. I didn’t realize my vent was as only 4’ from outside but it still did a good job. The locking segments is why I bought this over the ones that you have to go clockwise only. Major buildup needs bidirectional scrubbing which is possible with this one. Put a tarp down outside your vent to catch the mess. I followed up with a shop vac to blow out loose debris.

Worked great. I highly suggest everyone clean out your dryer lines a few times a year - really help your dryer performance.

Product works great but a few of the extension wouldn't click together.
