10 Pack T Type 9 V Battery Clip Connector Long Cable Connection Hard Shell Black Red Connector (T Type)

I used 2 of these to replace defective 9v battery clips inside Fan remote controls. The fan remote that came with a controller as well as a replacement remote for it both had faulty wire connectors going to the 9v battery. I just took the board out and soldered a replacement connect on there from this 10pk here, and wow the remotes now work great. These are very good sturdy battery connectors and wires. Attached is a picture of the replacement battery connectors as they came in a zip lock bag for storage.

Bought these for arduino project and have four main complaints:The wires are twisted strands and hard to solder.The sheath is weak low quality plastic and melts when you’re soldering the wires.The metal snaps are way too tight on standard Duracell batteries. When trying to disconnect it feels like youll rip the battery or connector apart.The plastic housing is loose fitting and feels like it will disassemble unexpectedly.

Considering how much a 10 pack of these cost, they're good. The wire coating will melt a little if you heat them up too much, but a quick touch with the soldering iron got them to do just what I needed. The padded area with the terminals is good too. I used these to repair smoke detectors that were missing small metal strips that contact the battery terminals, and these did exactly what I needed.

This is a solid little connector that doesn't seem nearly as prone to breakage as some of the really cheap junky ones coming out of China. Those always have leads that pull away from the contacts inside the shell and have to be disassembled and soldered back together. I use 9V clips pretty abusively, since I have a lab bench and slapping a 9V battery with a 7805 regulator on some circuit is a fast way to get a floating 5VDC supply for it. So I'm pretty particular about finding clips like this one that will stand up to some punishment.

As others have mentioned, the terminals are placed in a thick hard plastic cap which may make these are poor (ill-fitting) replacement for an existing application.For me, I am using with an Arduino project with no space constraints, so they worked great. I liked the thinker plastic because they feel like they will last longer.

These are pretty good, better than the flimsy ones you find elsewhere that are difficult to apply and remove from the battery. These battery plugs are made of a sturdy plastic that doesn't bend when manipulated.The only downside is that the leads break easily if you're not careful, I broke them a couple times while crimping on some alligator clips.

Well made 9 Volts Connector cable, but i wish the Cable Caliber would be a little more Thick, For 1.5 Volts this caliber is Perfect, for 9 Volts There is a little risk to burn the cable if your battery run for 1 hour Straight.

They worked perfectly for what I needed them for. I used these to convert a power supply to one 9v battery from a large bulky 6 AAA bank. I wanted to motorize a Lego train that I was building and I needed to create a power source for a small space. These worked perfectly.
