This ruler arrived today and within one hour I had used it to accurately measure interfacing for a waistband. Not the intended purpose I know but it made the job sooooo easy.The ruler has an extra half inch on the 6" side (by 12") which, if you're quilting, gives you the seam allowance for 6" squares.Bought it with the birthday gift voucher from my sister and when I get the next one (Christmas) I'll be getting the 24" version.p.s. Hubby bumped into my craft tray and knocked everything to the floor. This ruler remains unscathed, phew!Update 4/1/2020. I did indeed get the 24" vesrson which has proved invaluable, in fact I used it today to cut an 18" binding strip for a patchwork coaster. Wouldn't be without these rulers now, they make crafting so much easier.

Since purchasing this ruler it has been used in all my paper crafting projects. I prefer to work in inches when I craft, and i love how detailed this ruler is, with quarter and 8th", as well as small guides for 16th".This ruler is thick and sturdy, with clean edges and accurate measurements, and is much easier to measure and draw lines in one go rather than making multiple notches with a thin ruler.

Good quality product, with clear, accurate markings and straight edges. Perfect for sewing purposes, will last years, not flimsy. Recommended if you want to get accurate results

Study enough but gridlines on top portion of the ruler are slightly bowed meaning they're approx. 2mm out and cannot be used when squaring up cuts. Not worth sending back, I just have to use the other lines when cutting my quilting squares. It's also slippery and hard to keep perfectly still when cutting. Would not buy again.

This ruler has changed my cutting fabric experience! It's nice and tall and quite wide so I can finally cut accurately. It's quite heavy too, so it holds the fabric down. I don't know how I managed without it!

Bought this for my quilting really useful is wide and full of relevant markings I use it for DIY and other crafting projects not just quilting
